I have been OBSESSED with Demon Slayer for the last two years and just NOW am I finally getting around to drawing all my faves from this show!! So here's my take on Sabito from Kimetsu No Yaiba, or Demon Slayer!

Well they cant. Cause theres no actual controlled enviorments with demons. The whole point was to test on how they would do with demon enviorments. That kinda defeats the purpose of the entrace exams

@@WakasasNo1 no, when the hand demon was originally put into final selection he wasn’t nearly as strong. he just became more and more powerful because he targeted and ate like 16 of urodaki’s students (ik i misspelled his name)

It is kind of unfair they should've had atleast one actual slayer on stand by. If Sabito would've survived he could've continued his training and he could've become a hashira. But that might make Giyuus backstory less sad.

Yeah, i read somewhere that he killed almost all the demon in the final selection and his sword broke when fighting the hand demon because of that. The hand demon was still ridiculously strong when compared to to the demon slayers in final selection though

I think I can speak for a lot of people here, if Sabito survived, not only would he rise to Hashira quickly, but Giyu would still be happy. Since the last time he smiled, was before Sabito died protecting him during final selection

To be honest it’s heart-wrenching knowing that Sabito died and protected everyone else, including Giyuu. It makes my heart break whenever I watch kny and see that scene

I agree. Final selection is much for demon slayer freshies to handle in one go. Their growth in these skills should be step by step, getting harder gradually, before being sent to handle real-real demons themselves (with weaker and then stronger demons, I don’t think it’s impossible, since that hand demon had been there for more than a decade). It’s honestly so sad that trainers spend so much time with their students conscious that they might die during final selection. Also, could you draw Makomo next? It just feels right.

One of the theories I saw was that the reason the Hand Demon was left in there was to teach slayers to pick their battles and be smart about determining "should I try and fight that or do I need to find a good place to hide?" Also a bit of hiding training ig

Demon Slayer is a rather simple story and becos of how easy it is to understand, follow along with, coupled with likable characters makes it popular. But if you think about anything for more than five minutes it quickly falls apart. Granted, Gotouge wasn't going for a complicated story with a lot of lore. They told the story they wanted and bounced. And it paid off extremely well.

This is just factually wrong. Everything in the series is fleshed out and makes perfect sense, including Final Selection. It's all explained in the series. It's just a masterpiece at show, don't tell, so people don't catch on to many things.

The other reason I so wanted Sabito to survive was to see the friendship with him and Giyuu. I feel like I would love to see their relationship and other interactions developed more than the few flashbacks we get in the manga.

Sabito had so much potential and if he survived it is said that he would be stronger than Gyomei and I do agree with the point your making and you can't have Sabito without Makamo or Urokodaki

Fun fact if sabito never have died he would have been stronger than Gyomei and would have been a great help between the fight between Muzan and the hashiras and if sabito never had died Giyuu wouldn’t have probably pushed himself so hard to become a hashira and the fact that he would only have a red haori and would probably have some emotions non the less and thing is Giyuu only became a hashira because of sabito death but there is no doubt that sabito would have been the water hashira and Giyuu would have been more happy and less harsh on himself,and if sabito survived mokomo would have never died aswell but idk

The reasoning behind Final Selection is for Shonen Trope of a “Battle Royal” episode/arc. That’s why Demon Slayer one had zero logic and more of a checklist. While other anime made it so seamless you didn’t even notice the trope(like AoT). The trope is that there must be a death-sentence step to the next level where few survive. Here’s examples on other shonen anime: -Naruto had ‘Chunin Exams’ -Attack on Titan had ‘Battle of Trost’ -Hunter x Hunter had ‘Hunter Exam*’ -My Hero Academia had ‘School Exam*’ -Fairy Tail had one* *Forgot what they were called

An idea my friend and i came up with is that the mountain should be checked over before each final selection, so the demons who are too much for such new recruits can be culled ahead of time to get rid of demons who are That close to developing a blood demon art and clearly have eaten more than a certain amount of humans.

I do agree I do think hashira or demon slayers should’ve been on stand by just in case if a person that was taking final selection swords broke of if they got injured very badly and I think they should’ve had extra swords in case is there swords broke just like sabitos.

i feel like it wouldn’t be wrong to do that because even though they are going into a real life situation they need to make sure they’re skilled enough to survive, they should have people on stand buy because they can really just go back to training, and there won’t be any ridiculously high level demons to fight that way that’ll kill the beginners ps. i love this drawing

Honestly, the Hand Demon literally TARGETED Urokodaki's students and Giyuu was saved because of the injury he got and that getting the injury broke his mask before the Hand Demon could even see it. And they'd most likely die being a Slayer immediately if they couldn't pass Final Selection. Although, I really wish Sabito survived, too. HE AND GIYUU COULD'VE SHARED THE WATER HASHIRA SPOT!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!

To be fair though, they probably had no idea demons like the Hand Demon (who in my opinion needs a name) existed in the Final Selection. We know that Kakushi go into the mountain to place food and med packs, but that's during the day when the demons hide. They had no clue that demons in the Final Selection were capable of growing so strong.

If Sabito survived he would have definitely became a Hashira. Final selection is definitely messed up like having 20+ kids come and 5 leave. And the amount of demon slayers that get killed by demons are to many. So tbh I don’t think the demon slayers are putting themselves in a good position.

One of the only reasons he d!ed is because he k!lled every other demon before he went against the hand demon he was more powerful then giyu was at the time and we know most of the demons down there are weak but the hand demon was the strongest and sabito had around no energy at the time and it caused his death and he saved giyu from dy!ng and when we see sabito and makomo dea/h he's sword broke because he had already k!lled the other demons(as said before) so it cause he's sword to break into two pieces or it's just how strong the hand demons skin is

I think it's a necessary thing. People train slayers for years, and even if they pass final selection, they're sending them out to die even if they pass the test. The slayers are likely to die no matter how much time invested in them, sadly. The hand demon was like a stepping stone to demons like the drum demon or the spider demon family. I do think sabito should've lived, though.

They seem to be incredibly unprepared. Having only five survive during Tanjiro's trial establishes for us how dangerous the world is, but the corps was losing too many slayers before they even got to start.
