Indeed. Also, is it just me or did that jelly-humanoid character somewhat resemble a tiqui? Also that “shield” with the rapier one is technically called a buckler, usually made of only metal, and was often used in gladiatorial combat in the Flavian Amphitheater. Just felt the need to mention that odd bit of trivia.

I currently play a homebrew character from the shadowfell that’s essentially a reincarnation of one of *[THE GREAT OLD ONES]* and has various forms, one of which being an eldritch being. The normal-looking form is a capritaur (Like a centaur, but a goat instead of a horse) who also has a goat head, sans the extra bits, who wears a tophat and waistcoat, as well as a bow tie, despite having no shirt. The torso section is much more animal-like than centaurs, having three hoof-like fingers on each hand. And fur. Name: Gø Gøat. As in Baphomet, but without the - . First name Gø, last name Gøat. Dapper dark forest fellow.

My first character: This is Reginald, a survivor of the wild, someone that killed demons with ease. He's level one btw. My character's now(one and a half years of playing): This is Yohan, I gave him 3 wisdom and he's afraid of his own shadow.

XD My first character was a barbarian from a clan of spellcasters who could only use magic items with simple or unconsciously activated effects. It made, and still makes, one of my buddies /really/ mad whenever the first time the handicap came up is mentioned. My current active character is a vampire rogue with swiftly developing abandonment issues who recently changed her family name because she found out a sister she thought was dead is actually the reason the rest of the family actually /is/ dead.

I play a capritaur (homebrew race that’s like a centaur, but a goat, and has the head of a goat and the torso section isn’t bare skin) with powers of an eldritch dark dimension being and strength enough to bench press a battleship, but a wisdom score of 6. He’s new to the dimension.

Best advice is probably don’t put off learning the fundamentals. Even if things like perspective, lighting and proper anatomy seem boring to learn, grinding through those lessons earlier is better 😁 trust me, it’s soooo worth learning that stuff early!

Star Wars DnD could work depending on campaign story. Maybe if they did something with sword colours similar to how in kimetsu no yaiba the swords adopt colour depending on character's personalitys. guns could be crossbows, stormtroopers could be knights and different classes of knights. Maybe if you did the moving city kind of trope for a star destroyer and other ships. Maybe dragons for fighter crafts like the x wing. The designs for star wars would transfer over pretty easily as well.

The “real-life mudkips” are called axoltls. The ‘things on the side of their face’ are external gills. Their pink colour actually comes from the red blood cells, which you can see because there are so few cells between the blood channel and the surrounding water, so that gas exchange can occur.

I really liked the characters they had really good design and thoughtful background stories. People seem to enjoy similar semi demonic types and there was a good number of semi human but I can tell now that Pop Cross Studios prefer the monster manual. For me D&D is different from the genre of RPG because of content like there’s Mysteries, SciFy, Adventure, or Anime yet this category it’s not about modern machines or if guns get used it’s a gunslinger character. I’ll have to think about the more sinister side now for anti hero I know a few good game villains but I haven’t done many monster cross breeds
