The Drawfee Channel When Julia started drawing herself playing animal crossing I expected her to draw the rest of the drawfee crew playing along with her in some capacity. We kinda got that with her including Jacob but I was looking out for that. I know the friendship that the four of them have comforts me. Their companionship is great and is part of the reason this is my favorite KZbin channel of all time.

In case you guys didn’t know the villager Audi (Julia’s cool fashion wolf) is based off of an elderly woman who logged over 3500 hours in Animal Crossing New Leaf. Her story went viral a few years ago and caught their attention so they made a villager after her. !!JOYCON DRIFT FIX!! There's a very inexpensive easy fix for joycon drift. You can spray some WD-40 contact spray in there. Just make sure it's really contact spray and not the standard one so it doesn't mess with the electronics. It fixed it for me immediately

The JoyCon drift seems to be caused by the plastic in the joystick wearing and leaving behind a dust screwing with the sensors. Nintendo is honouring an extended warranty and will fix it but if you want a trick to do now. Try applying some isopropyl alcohol to a cotton swab and dab it around the base of the stick, move the stick around and run a calibration. If it works, great! If it doesn't Nintendo is there once the world becomes somewhat normal again. Stay safe you guys! :)

Drawfee is MY comfort food. I always watch the new episodes, but then I go search one of those youtube playlists that has all the drawfee episodes chained together and I just listen to them in sequence while i'm doing other things. It is genuinely comforting and fun to just hear you guys talk and joke around. It reminds me of a group of friends I had years ago and we had a similar sort of dynamic for about 10+ years before life finally caused us to drift apart. I miss that old dynamic a lot, and Drawfee helps recapture that feeling and helps sate it a bit. It's just relaxing to hear you guys cut up and goof while i'm doing other work, like one long podcast that I just loop over and over again. I don't really have a specific suggestion, but I do enjoy ensemble episodes like when you guys drew the whole dippy gang, or when you drew all those states-as-people friends, or all those crazy characters named after drinks who lived in a town together. Hearing the stories you guys imagine about these fictional characters interacting is one of my favorite things, so we definitely need more ensemble episodes! :)

I have something nice to read for you: I haven't been able to play Animal Crossing. I let my older sister borrow my switch around December so that she could play Breath of the Wild for the first time. She lives far away and I cannot go see her because of quarantine. Sometimes she texts me cute updates about how many Koroks she has found or about how she has 3/4 beasts completed. She has done all of this for 20 minutes a day on her lunch break. I am sad that I can't play Animal Crossing, but I am happy that she is enjoying some Zelda.

Re: the joycon drift. you can send them in (probably the safest option, and fine if you have a spare controller anyway, like the pro controller), or you can use a Qtip dipped in isopropyl alcohol and clean out the dust from the sensors. there's a youtube video by a guy called Nintendrew that explains how to do it, but basically there is a soft rubber cap underneath the hard plastic top of the joystick which can be easily and safely pushed upwards to clean underneath it

One of one Joycons was drifting really badly and making it super hard to do things in ACNH. I watched the same video yesterday and tried his method. So far my controller is working amazingly and I see a noticable difference. Definitely try this method!

I find this show really comforting. Yours is one of my very favorite channels to watch, and I appreciate the upbeat content even more during this hard time. I actually usually play each of your videos a few times because I often put one on low with the screen hidden to fall asleep, but then I have to come back and actually watch it too! I hope that’s not too weird. Sometimes I use familiar cartoons instead, but it’s just nice to have familiar voices as background noise. I’m a long-time fan. I’ve especially liked then new feeling of balance and longer episodes (or at least one more drawing) since Karina joined. I love seeing all of your different drawing styles and especially like the challenge videos where you draw something in a different style or do let us see you do a full render of something. Those episodes must be lots more work, though! Beans are fun and casual, which is good since Newsdays would be too much work If they came more frequently. I also really love the episodes with fun voices (the Lore Librarian, or one of you has a great robot voice) and I thought the one where you drew and talked about historical figures was especially cool too. I’ve been worried about you all. I hope you’re making enough to be safe and have what you need to be happy and healthy. I know this has to be really hard, continuing this show after the layoff, but I really appreciate and enjoy it. I don’t usually comment but I want you to know your work makes a difference to your fans.
