I believe a phased array set wil already provide you with a digital beamspread, but it would be a really interesting experiment to draw one up manually and then compare them. Please try it and let me know

Hi. Thanks for great video. How we can use this beamspread in practise? Which means after doing that where we use it?

Hi there Ruslan, I hope you are enjoying my channel. Beam spreads could be used in practice for a number of reasons, for instance we typically draw up a 6db beam spreads as a check to make sure the probe is behaving as it should during calibrations. On top of this we can draw up a 20db beamspread to assist in assessing the flaw height/size with the 20db drop sizing method.
