I'd love to see you break down how you go about drawing different characters. If you have different processes for drawing different genders, ages or body shapes/sizes etc- if you're ever interested! Maybe you could have a character prompt and you try drawing them as a dude and a girl for example?

My niece and I have recently been learning to draw and tbh we're not the most patient of people so if you could/would also include tips and tricks to improve your art/keep going when you feel like you're making no progress or will never be any good etc I know we would appreciate that kind of thing too! I've bought her a full drawing set in a case and Barrington Barber's 'The Complete Book of Drawing' for Christmas and I cannot wait to see her face when she opens it! lol I love how the first oversized sketch has this "how YOU doin'?" kind of expression lol He looks like he's trying to hit on his sister's bridesmaid that is like 12 years older than him. I hope you have a lovely holiday. You should take off the rest of the year :) You work hard! Everyone deserves to enjoy their holiday (especially in a dumpster fire year like this). You're always such a bright spot because your videos are always so positive. I hope you know that your content and personality make others feel good. That being said, I know that when someone positive like you is struggling, a lot of people don't notice or realize that you need support. Take the time you need to get to a better place. If you want to have oversized clothes drawn on a character, the seam connecting the torso with the sleeves needs to be farther down the shoulder. And if it’s really really oversized, you’d want that closer to the elbow to show that his shoulder width is much smaller than his dad’s

I've been rereading the Harry Potter series these past few weeks, and let me tell you, hearing "slicked back [hair]... like Severus Snape going to the Yule Ball" made my day! Severus Snape is such a fantastically complex and tragic character, and he's hardly the only one--Harry Potter may have been written as a children's book, but it has a lot to offer for adults too! I'm amazed to hear it referenced as often as I do even nowadays, but I'm glad that, of all the series to make a worldwide impact, Harry Potter is a pretty good one! Hang in there, Rin! I'm a kid, soo I'm kinda using myself as a reference- and also my drawing style- And I think it would've look more like a child if you shrunk the body in proportion to the head, and make the torso twice the length of the legs, or the opposite. Generally in real life its the opposite, but I feel like if you had made the torso longer or made it appear longer (by making the jacket cover way more of the pants) It would look more childish (I'm speaking like from the range of 5-8) Again I don't know, I'm just a kid myself-

I just got this random idea, what if I designed a character that evolves over time and transitions into their true gender, like a biological male slowly turning into a pretty girl over time.. That'd be so much fun. Like just drawing how her hair slowly starts getting longer, her clothing style changes, she finally gets surgery and her showing off her boobies in a happy polaroid selfie..- I'm so gonna do that. The best part is I can ask my trans friends to help me to portrait it as a accurate as possible I'm so excited rnnnnn

I really like the sketch of the young child wearing the tuxedo that is colored. He reminds me of a young Severus, around the time he met Lily. Although my favorite sketch is the father and son holding hands and wearing Christmas hats. I also really love the drawing of the penguins. It's too adorable. I hope you feel better soon!!
