I used art paper for this. The result came out nice but as this painting needs a lot of water for blending my paper has become harsh and too much water has ruined the smoothness of the paper:(. Does anyone have suggestions? Which paper do you use for watercolour?what's the name?

I'm very new to watercolours and I was feeling so confident in recreating this! Your paintings are amazing. I've noticed that my style is a lot more abstract than detailed, which there's nothing wrong with at all of course. Mine turned out nothing like yours but still pretty either way. I think I should stick with abstract portraits, my strongest skill so far in my watercolour journey!

Yesterday, when I was watching painting videos, one of the paintings from this channel showed up on my recommendation. I watched that, and about 5-6 other videos in this channel. Each one is simply amazing. Every painting is so beautiful. The subject is lovely. The way it is painted is just excellent. I love how the light is painted by leaving a part of the paper white and surrounding with light colours. The shades in leaves/trees, water, sky -- everything is just so perfectly painted . I'm so glad I found this channel and I'm so in love with all the paintings here. Thanks for your effort in making videos and sharing here. It is such an inspiration for people like me. Cant wait to paint following your videos. I love your painting videos more than any other on KZbin that I have seen.
