Vielen Dank Werner! Also, viel Spaß beim Jammen! 👍

Great recreation! On the original version, the main synth line seems to get extreme amounts of decay at some point, is that done just by adding more reverb/delay? I already have the decay knob on my TD-3 to the right completely but the individual notes still ring out clearly, while in the original it becomes one fluent melody 🙈
@gstoelen3 жыл бұрын
Nevermind, apparently he used a 303 to sequence the notes, and they were sent to an Arp Odyssey... that makes it a lot easier to sustain the notes lol
@DuckTronic3 жыл бұрын
Thank you Geert! To be honest, I don't know that exactly and I didn't ask Thomas beforehand. But I also think that the melody was played by an ARP. The phaser and other effects probably make up that particular sound. But the pattern should be enough for jamming! 😉

I don't think the main lead was done with a TB-303. Sounds a little bit too thin for that.
@DuckTronic3 жыл бұрын
If in the original a TB-303 was used for the main pattern I don't know exactly either. But the special sound of the pattern is made by the compression, the phaser and probably other effects.
@Gainn3 жыл бұрын
Rather than tweaking the tune control, can't you just use the transpose function?
@DuckTronic3 жыл бұрын
I am not sure if the transpose function works for four consecutive patterns. I have not tried that. If so, I could have done that instead of turning up the global tuning. But you could have made only one pattern and transpose it in track mode. However, I rarely use the track mode in the videos, because it is more descriptive with individual patterns. 👍
@Gainn3 жыл бұрын
@@DuckTronic just tried it to confirm and it does work with consecutive patterns, but you can't pre-select the transpose before it's running. I'm always using track mode so it's something I just use automatically now.
