The real problem with the warriors is they don't have enough talent around curry to make up for his inability to defend, lead, and play pg on the level you'd expect from a player who is described as an all-time great player. He's average to below average in those categories, which makes him an average player with 1 skill, which is shooting the 3. Curry isn't an all-time great player. He's an all-time great roleplayer. That's why when he got injured at the end of the 2021-22 season, poole was able to replace his production, because they did have enough talent then to makeup for curry's many inadequacies. The reason they don't have that much help around curry now is because lacob spent and spent to have enough help around curry to him the last 3 rings to the point where the league changed the cba to make it too expensive to buy a ring. The warriors have themselves to blame the being as terrible as they are right now. Their success fixed/hid their problems, but the leagues response to it and their response to the leagues response equates to their success, causing all their problems.

He should get a 30-game suspension. Any further unprovoked incident that results in a non-basketball type play, going forward in his CAREER, should result in a rest of season suspension. Then we'd see how much he truly cares about his team & play. If it's in the playoffs, he's suspended the following regular season as well. You have to send a message to him & every other player who wants to play this way. He's not "an enforcer," he's acting out. The GSW should suspend him BEFORE the league does. That would probably impact him more than whatever the league chooses.
