567 sounds like something later SCPs would consider torturous. Considering there is nothing that 567 considers unreachable regarding immoral acts like Adultery, Murder and Fraud, it must have a long list of people it would love to hold onto, barring a stay of execution. Regardless, it is always imperative to count your sins near this place. The Dungeon knows. The Dungeon Remembers. The Dungeon Never Forgets, even if you want to. What is puzzling is why it targets creatures just as much as humans despite humans being the ones who can articulate speech patterns and rational thought. Is it following the same principles and laws issued to humans even if animals can't exactly adhere to it? Regardless, this is an awesome video as always Doc. You got one hell of a team with ya! To be honest, the crimes of each cells are pretty... Universal I believe, Killing, stealing, adultery, sexual abuse. As long as a species is civilized enough, those crimes are universal.
@longlivethe99892 жыл бұрын
You see, all the creatures that have emerged from the cells possess quite the sentience, sufficient to operate firearms and fight very proficiently against some of the best soldiers out there. It's safe to assume that their minds do possess the ability to evaluate their actions and do "wrong" things for their benefit, consciously. I doubt it'd, for example, punish a wolf for attacking a human, the animal just wanted to live... However, sentient creatures like The Old Man which kill for their own amusement would be eligible

@@cyberprime9355 I don't think sapience has anything to do with it since predators kill in the wild all the time to eat. But I don't think MTF should sign up for clean criminal records, since cell 3 targets various types of murder, means foundation personnel will be victims too. Little things, like adding "the chain bracelets were cold, closed so tight the circulation was cut off" make a huge difference. @monicaclark84532 жыл бұрын
@@ocskopf If we could bust open the door possibly, but he didn't "technically" succeed. Which means by the strictest definition he wouldn't be guilty of that particular crime and therefore wouldn't activate the anomalous properties of the 8th cell. The foundation does have an anomalous "clone" of Hitler, but it was made after he died and didn't technically commit any of Hitler's crimes. But that is hardly reliable due to the debatable nature of clone based ethical practises (are clones just a twin of its source material and therefore it's own entity or are they just a duplicate, if so do they have equal claim to the life of the "original") which is a headache in it's own right. The real problem is that we have no reliable way to test the hypothesis, genocide the word is fairly new (the concept of eradication of groups has existed as long as murder obviously). Add to that the fact that it's virtually impossible for a single "being" to completely eradicate anything, an army or even over enthusiastic hunters, sure. It comes down to a question of how the cells judge the criminal in question. For instance, does a soldier fulfilling orders count as the murderer or does the commanding officer who ordered it? Does manslaughter count as murder or does intent matter? If I accidently kill the last remaining specimen of a specific species do I trigger the murder cell or the (hypothetical) genocide cell? All and all we don't know enough about the specifics of WHY/HOW the anomaly works to get a clear answer on the 8th cells potential crime, not until it takes a prisoner or we find out it's origins.

Lets be honest he got the promotion because the O-5 Council found out about his his true identity. They already knew what the cells did and knew he wasn’t a good person since they definitely did a through background check for all personnel for that site

But he was never convicted of that murder, it was completely unknown to everyone but him

Scp-567 could be used to try the innocence of criminals. It would solve many of crimes.

Dr. Bob works directly for the Administrator doesn’t he? Going around the 05 Council to give us these stories. Even the 05s can’t stop you under orders from The Administrator.

Honestly I would've expected the foundation to have found out about him murdering his brother, they have plenty of anomalies that targets guilt

They didn’t mention its class, but I’m gonna guess Euclid as they simply need to create a protective perimeter around it.

At first, I thought that the creatures coming out of it were just horribly mutated humans, but Dr. Bob did possibly disprove that theory, also this truly does show the fact that SCP-966 is far more sadistic and Inteligent than thought to the point that a dungeon that takes people for their crimes deemed a member of that species guilty.

I wonder if cell 8 is made for a specific person? After all it only has one chair inside unlike the others who don't have anything inside of them.
