Fungi are so COOL! Anamalous fungi even more so, but the idea of fungus that can prey/parasitize on humans in this sort of way is terrifying. We've already got 'friendly' fungus in our bodies, like yeast for example, that can cause some serious problems when it gets out of hand. Even outside of a setting like TheLastOfUs creating fungal 'zombies', something like this is fascinating in hypothetical, terrifying in concept, and both times it's because of how simply effective it would be. Love your work Dr Bob!

See the thing that breaks my immersion on these SCP histories are how the SCP's mobile task forces are portrait as barely above normal SWAT teams, you are telling me that an organization on the scale of the Foundation gears their field operatives with gear that can be pierced by a common knife and by a human(and a female one at that) with no anomalous modifications, even more the training and reactions of said field operatives are just on par with normal special forces around the world, Dr. Bob i like your content i really do, but could you update your animation to at least show the SCP field forces as geared with equipment that sell that yeah these guys are not regular Black Ops as i know that the way they are portrait is not your fault but rather the writers.

@@GroundedNate Right, for one armor es rarely just one layer, specially when talking about modern materials let alone an organization with anomalous materials or production methods, two at least in this case the task forces seemed to know what they where against and the SCP in question was not the one generation motion or actions, just reactions, and finally in real life the quality of material available to the public(the knife) when compare against military grade equipment(inner mesh or Kevlar body armor) is staggering, if you can compare a knife from your kitchen to a combat knife from a weapons store and see the difference, and again anomalous materials and resources.

@ForkLift-m9x But the task forces knew what they where against and yes in the SCP universe there are legit cases where no protection is the best protection, but to a degree i would assume the the foundation's mobile task forces are way better trained than regular SWAT, and again, anomalous materials and production method could mean more durable and lighter armor, my main point is if i where a member of the foundation's mobile task forces i would want to be geared with something better that what a regular weapons manufacturer could produce or is in the market.
