He's very much like SCP-343. Whether or not SCP-343 is actually God, I do wonder how they would interact with one another. That said, despite the morbid nickname of this anomaly, it's actually quite wholesome with no strings attached. And much like SCP-999, there's not a speck of ill intent or malice behind their actions. They just do good things because they can, because they want to. Merry Christmas!

While this was a wonderful story, there really was a Santa Claus. But he was a toymaker in the North of Europe. When his wife passed, he was truly paralyzed. It was then that he had a paranormal vision in which his dead wife visited him- and set him on the path of becoming Santa. This gave him the vision of giving toys to children each Christmas Eve. He became so well known in his town, that people began to leave their door open every Christmas Eve so he could mysteriously leave toys. His fame grew into the Santa we know today. Proof that life can be even stranger than an SCP.

Everything thinks Santa gives gifts. He only gives hope. That gift that helps you, that is hope. Small(?) nitpick: Around the 10th century, Constantinople was still medieval Greek and not typically 'Middle-Eastern'. Though, if I remember correctly, there were some Muslim neighborhoods established for trade, and one could argue that this story takes place in one such neighborhood.
