I yell at men when they stare at me. Jay z did an interview awhile back and talked about my exact scenario. A girl got mad at him for staring and He said “oh you think I see you” “you’re in a space where you’re hurting and you don’t want me to see your pain” “so if I look at you you get upset” and those words hit me so hard because that’s exactly how I feel. Controlling my emotions is a daily struggle for me. I know how bad it can get that I rather stay at home all day then go out because I know I’m going to go off on someone. So happy I found your channel seeing people in the comments talk about their issues really help. I know I’m not the only one struggling.

Present moment mindfulness and meditation were introduced to me in 2006 in Eckhart Tolle's book "The Power of Now". I was recently divorced, and what i learned was instrumental in enduring and overcoming the trauma of that time. I allowed myself to get away from it, and now am facing the prospect of yet another divorce. I discovered Dr. Conte only recently, but am so grateful for this video which has squarely helped me return to the very things i know are true and helpful. Thank you for this video. (and btw, i just purchased one of your books via amazon recently. On Anger, can't wait to read it).

RLSCS I’m so grateful to hear that. I would love for you to try it, and really give yourself time with it. We just see so many neurological benefits from it, so I get to say with evidence backing me, that it can really help. If you start with two mins a day, that gives you a chance to make it a habit. Eventually doing it for 5 minutes a day at a minimum is ideal. I do have a video on meditation, too, and I plan to make more, so I’d definitely appreciate if you subscribe. Thank you for watching.
