I'm a 20 year military vet, so usually the military stories have so many inaccuracies that they become annoying. This was very good. Only one small mistake (when MG 3 is served by one soldier, the belt is inside of a cannister, not hanging loose), but otherwise great! A note for you Doc: when you see "MK" in a military context, you should read "mark" as in mark 17, not mk 17. Sorry for the nit pick, but thought you'd like to know. ❤

I was in the Marines and after my first deployment to Afghanistan I got to rotate to Finland on a joint NATO training mission “America does this to show Russia how fast we can be next door to them and immediately invading their home turf” while participating in this joint NATO games I learned most NATO nations take our advice and implement our tech into their fighting forces

He was wasting ammo like crazy after saying they needed to conserve it.
@jackdurden46622 күн бұрын
I had the same thoughts. He emptied an entire mag into the one guy in the church basement! Yeah, that’s conserving ammo!
@christopherneelyakagoattmo607821 күн бұрын
Ammo conservation is why there are more 10 round mags/stripper clips than 100 round drums. And 20-30 is the norm. Because full auto eats up even a 100 round mag dump in 3ish seconds. Meaning that if you hit anything; at most you'll get hits on, at best, 5-6 targets in that time, no matter how few or many rounds you fire. Stopping after 3-5 round bursts is the most effective room sweep method. But Gypsy be chunkin sometimes She wants to be empty in that guy.

Dear Dr thank you for an entertaining story that had many great turns and was quite an accomplishment for a four man team! I’ll admit that the single greatest annoyance to me was their code names. Every time one was spoken it’d make me cringe. But they apparently have to have names right? Dave and Tom just wouldn’t have done them proper justice. So an excellent story aside from my own personal issue that can easily be overlooked. Delivered expertly by the great Dr Creepen, and once again I’m fortunate enough to have the ability to enjoy it to its fullest. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

well nøkk is a old Scandinavian folklore creature so siege calling a opperetor nøkk/nokk is not realy wired ? i remember my granddad telling me the legend about her, that she lives in the mose/swamp in the fog and if she cougt you the would take your will from you and eventualy drown you, the morale of the old storry was dont go to the swamp in fog cause you could not return alive. have a goood night :)

I’d guess that they, like another commenter said, were inspired by germanic/scandinavian folklore. Known as Näcken here in Sweden, probably one of our most well known mythological creatures.
