Her rendition of this song has been on my playlist for years now.. Glad you've found her. ❤

She isn't flashy, isn't showboating or showing off, she is just impeccably *musical*. She elicits pure emotion both in her interpretation and vocal technique. None of her performance is meant to say "hey, look at how great *I* am", it is merely to say "here is what I feel from this piece of music, and now you feel it too".

Wow what an amazing rendition of a classic. I’ve not hear it before. It’s beautiful. Wonderful analysis. I’m taking notes and hoping to give this a go myself. Wish me luck. 🙏🥰

Wonderful dive Dr. Dan. We also love her contribution to the Broadway musical Waitress. I've attached a link to a benefit performance in which Elton actually addresses Sara and the song that she performed. Elton is not usually associated with humility so it's touching to see how much he respects Sara. kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6C1ZX6HZdyIoZY PS...looking forward to more Morissette! lol

Time to sit back with my eggnog and watch Dr. Dan's mind being blown. Sara is a vocal goddess! ♥️🙌 Btw, just noticed this isn't the Atlanta version others have reacted to - that one has better sound and arguably a better rendition from Sara.
