You hit the nail on the head!! I have your Enough is Enough book, and it is refreshing and empowering. I left 4 years ago, and he hunted me down and begged me to come back, promised help and made empty promises of how he was going to complete all the unfinished projects he started at home. I am so sorry I ever came back, but I’m getting stronger and making a plan. It’s hard because he keeps love bombing me. He calls me 10 times a day while he’s at work and is very codependent and smothering. I feel suffocated. Everything revolves around him. Lord, give me strength to not waver going forward!

I was wondering about unfinished projects. He started about 15 projects in our home and never finished them. Our home is in worse shape than when we bought it.

Thank you Dr. Clark for all you are doing. It took me five years to get my divorce in Tennessee. He beat me filing by manipulating me into thinking reconciliation was possible. In reality, he was waiting for one of my order of protection to expire and he filed the date it expired. I had to do the whole divorce including paperwork. He told me I could not be disabled and he got a new supply. I did not know he was a narcissist until a year after he filed for divorce. It took 2 attorneys and working on #3. God had to be with me. It was impossible. I have 2 women now filing for divorce from their nar husbands. I will share them this link. 💜

After I built a house with my own two hands, financing it out of my own pocket, and building it myself, because the narc kept on being utterly irresponsible and financially abusive, and after at the same time starting and building my own business to sustain our family needs, while also homeschooling our four children, the narcissist got offended when I told him that I do not have time for his ever self-inflicted emergencies. I simply told him that he should ask me in advance when he wants to talk to me about something and not bust in the door and overwhelm me with things while I am in the middle of something else. He thinks this is inappropriate as I am his wife and he ought to be able to talk to me anytime whenever he pleases. I told him he needs to ask me when it is convenient for me. His response was, that he will never ask me when it is convenient for me to have a conversation. I told him then it is settled. We won't have a conversation. And of discussion.

I’m Catholic, and was just told by a fellow Catholic, that my soul would go to hell because I filed for divorce! I was also told I needed to obtain an annulment to save my soul ! Can u please help me and address this issue in a future podcast?????!!!!!

Ok so pretend you’ve finally decided to separate from your abusive husband. You have no money and no vehicle and your not in an area where public transportation is available. What do you do the start? Who do you call? How do I start this? He’s gotta stay away thou

Pray & fast. God is a rescuer and deliverer. Record the abuse discretely. Do not give any indication as to what you're up to in leaving and you'll have more time to plan. Get a savings account in your name. Do you have anything to sell for cash?

You can call a woman’s shelter and get ask them for help and then ask if somebody can meet you and you have no transportation where you are. Make a plan and do not let him know anything. Take only what you can bring especially your birth certificate, SSN, passport or anything else that is important. Hide it in a good place so when you leave you grab it and go!! I’m not sure if you have family? If so try to see if you can get help from them and stay with them for now. Don’t fall for going back with the Narc!! Once you’re done and gone work on yourself and possibly you can get on section 8 for housing and medical? Or if able to work start saving money for yourself and find an affordable place or a roommate. Good luck and stay safe and healthy

Forgot to add!! Important to ask for a restraining order and please try to get into a woman’s shelter!! They can assist you and help you with the restraining order and divorce proceedings as well as where you can get help finding somewhere to live
