Hi Dr Dray, have you seen recent memes with Mark Zuckerberg's sunscreen face? I think we need to give him credit for applying the CORRECT amount, because all media are writing how he applied too much. :)

Yeah I thought it was kinda strange people were telling him he applied too much and made fun of him for it... is skin cancer and rapidly aging skin funny? Because most people do not apply enough!

Dr dray, I believe you are supposed to dilute the Korean drink..with added water or sth. I am Argentine; and Yerba mate is from South America. The Yerba Mate is a different herb, it is not actual tea, but does have caffeine! It is really good for health. It is rich in antioxidants in a degree comparable to green tea.

Huda Ameen I'm a curly girl too (3b-4a), I like the wash day delight but it does dry my hair out a little bit. I alternate it with The Mane Choice's minty guava kiwi shampoo and that doesn't strip my hair at all. Definitely make sure to deep condition either way.. my favorite lately has been Curls cashmere & caviar hair masque, it's SO hydrating and makes my hair so so shiny and soft!

I love my dreams. Sometimes they have a cast of real people and othertimes very unrealistic situations. I have on occasion awakened and made notes, but usually I drift back to sleep and forget the details of the dream when I awake in the morning. Sometimes I enjoy a dream so much, if awaken, I can fall back to sleep to pick up the action where I left off. Too bad I can't compile all these snippets into a book. Done right, it may make for fun, humorous, reading.

Happy Saturday! Question for the Draysians - Has anyone else found that the EltaMD UV Clear is very shiny? I like it, but it would be more ideal for me if the niacinamide was a slightly lower percentage, it was fully mineral (but low/no cast), a bit more matte, and water resistant (but not so tenacious I need to scrub my face to get it off). I've been watching a lot of reviews but I'd love some additional recommendations!

Hey Dr dray hope your week is going well:) I was wondering if u could possibly touch on how to layer sunscreen as I heard u mention how layering sunscreen prevents skip areas.

Maya Green: Apply first layer of sunscreen, let it dry, then apply second layer of sunscreen. Note that you can layer chemical & physical sunscreens, tinted & untinted sunscreens, and ones from different brands.

Maya Green: To find existing videos on topics that interest you, and before requesting one, type “dr dray + topic name” in the KZbin search bar. For example, type “dr dray layering sunscreen” in the YT search bar and a number of relevant videos will appear in the search results.

Hey Dr Dray! I have a question about under arm excessive sweating and a new product I’ve seen called Duradry. It has a three step solution that’s supposed to stop sweating and is $20 subscription. I’m not sure if they send it monthly or what. Still looking into it. The only thing that’s worked for me is CertinDry but it causes my underarms to itch like crazzzy. I am just wondering if the ingredients in this Duradry sound promising or if it’s a gimmick

Hi dr. I was wondering if you could recommend a nice eye cream? I am 60 years old and still trying to find something that works for wrinkles and doesn’t make those little white bumps. Thank you, Rose Smith

She doesn't use "eye" cream. Around her eyes she uses the same moisturizer that she uses on her face. She says that "eye" creams are just really expensive facial moisturizers marketed as eye creams. She's not the only dermatologist that says that.

I like Sheisado eye cream. Its really good. I find the extra moisture is much needed around the eye. I'm in my late 50's and have always used an eye cream.

There are also retinoid eye creams or retinoid serums for the face that can be used under the eyes at least like Dermelect. Like Dr Dray, Dr. Davin Lim recommends just using your regular face cream. If your regular face cream is too rich for the eyes, he recommends mixing it with a bland moisturizer; two parts bland moisturizer and one part rich and then adjusting as needed.

Hello Dr, Pls suggest something for KP..Amlactin doesn’t seem to help much..
@noneofbusiness7739

Amlactin didn’t work for me. I tried products where the active ingredient included retinoid (differin), urea (eucerin roughness relief and excipial), lactic (Amlactin) or salicylic acid (Cerave SA cream and oxy salicylic pads). They all helped to a degree. However, my best results were with glycolic acid. Try the The Ordinary’s Glycolic Acid. Swipe affected areas for 1 week to see if there’s a difference. That is an affordable product or purchase Alpha Skincare if you want a lotion. You could also purchase The Ordinary’s Lactic, Salicylic, and Glycolic products and test which acid works the best on your skin. It is a trial and error. What works for one person may not work for another. Keep at it. You’ll find an exfoliating lotion that works for you. Good luck!

Have you tried the Alpha Skin Care Lotion with 12% Glycolic? She’s spoken of it often. I love it for anti aging but with that percentage might be beneficial for KP. I buy it on Amazon.

If you have the budget, Glytone is a good 17% glycolic for the body. I bought it to use on my fore arms where I have sun spots. It is very thick and a little difficult to spread but it does stay in place throughout the night. A light spritz of water b4 applying the lotion helps spread it more easily.

Joan Nogas gly-derm or Glytone? I have Glytone and I agree it is thick and doesn’t spread easily.
