Dude thank you so much for this countdown, ive always wanted to see something like this after chris's 14 MFC adventure. More ideas could simply be Top 10 hardest to PFC/pass for more ratings, or more that talks about doubles. You could do updates to the Top 10 hardest Singles/Doubles again at some point but it may be a bit redundant

One big saving grace is the non-existent bpm changes. Also iirc the sync is pretty good.

3:38 I think the best thing is to count it with the “with you” like in music terms, in 4/4 that would be 3 and 1. it will mimic it if it was a full stemmed 8th not but without the 4 and, so it would sound like 3 (and 4) and 1. like a dotted quarter note with an eighth note, that’s how I counted it. So it’s like With will be the 3, and the you will be the and, and the first jump is 1.

Late sure, like most of Ace. But the window is locked. Never feels like it drifts or there are subtle BPM changes. It's hard to find the zone, but once you do, you can get ridiculous MA, hence I have 11p along with dvogan and stevesusername.

@@drdvids I'm not sure if the sync was modified since I PFC'd it a year ago, but I disagree with the window being locked. Maybe in the middle 440bpm sections, but that 50bpm part near the beginning is pretty late compared to what comes before, and the very very end is horrendously early (like feels almost an entire 16th early). As a primarily aural player it really messed with me.

These are the hardest 14s to PFC, but not necessarily to clear. For example, Tohuku Evolved is a mid-range 14 to clear, just requiring some stamina but otherwise using straightforward patterns at a reasonable tempo. But it made Dr. D's list because of a small handful of gimmicks that are notorious combo breakers. For passing, they'll each just net you a miss or two at the worst.

You should do a TOP 10 Fastest STEPS on DDR. For example, like those insanely fast 1/16th bursts on 360BPM on Paranoia revolution challenge? Like you should rank those.

Would agree with most of the list. Tohoku Evolved didn't take nearly as long as B4U Voltage Special or Joker during my experience.

I’m surprised RISING FIRE HAWK wasn’t this one but I remember it got re-rated to 15 in A20 and then Ace a few updates later... Good video and I was so happy you made another top 10 and I still have a vengeance against Pluto The First in X2 CS, song kept me out of EES : /

Dr. D Gaming It actually is now that I remember, because Rising fire hawk is actually mostly straightforward and has actually no gimmicks unlike the one’s in the list which have gimmicks like bpm changes, stops etc... (P.S Pluto The First would be even worse if the Pre-Ace judgement timings were used.) Thanks for the clarificiation. Keep up the awesome gameplay and top 10’s Dr.D.

I have a very conflicting opinion on this. It's just stops, which all make sense and aren't random as hell(Pluto) and its been out for a while so a lot of older players know it(I did not). On second hand, Chaos esp took me 83 tries, about 75 in one night and was my 3rd to last 14 to PFC back in December. I actually have the photo of my first good full combo at 8:28 and my PFC at 10:18 playing straight through.
