One thing. The meks +1 to hit only affects a single vehicle model, not a unit. So if used on Killa kans you'd have one hitting on 3s the rest still on 4s
@valbroderick8156Ай бұрын
That is rather unfortunate, but at least it's still a significant buff to the Mork/Gorkanaut

Lootas with a Big Mek with shock attack gun and the "push it fasta" enhancement. Some of the best overwatch in the game assuming the target is on an objective and you get full rerolls.

The gretchin strat is very interesting. Chuck some mortals and run away!

It does give them that cunning and dangerous theme. Love it.

I've been wanting to get into Orks and I wanted to know if that strategem only works on a 4+, or if it's just specifically the damage part that procc on a 4+?

Is there any way to use the dread mob rule on a battlewagon, like sharing keywords or anything

This is the only detachment I can see shoota boyz having a use in, one day shoota boyz will be useful.

And even then, that's at a push. They need to get rid of heavy and give them BS5. That would instantly give them more legs.

@@BlackJackalGamingWhen he says shoota boyz he is referring to Ork boyz with shoota’s equipment, not lootas.

@jakew5115 ah, that's very true. Definitely not worth taking the shoota atm

@@BlackJackalGaming Could be used with Meks, as Meks ability lets you reroll shooting hits of 1. Which Lootas already get. Also unlocks the detachment rule for them. I could see 20 shootas with smoky gubbinz acting as a tough objective holder.

This might be the best detachment once the meta shifts

It's a really strong detachment
@danielhammer6195 ай бұрын
I really dont think so. You instantly give up bring it down, your mobility is trash and you move 6 and 8 inches on kans, dreads and nauts. Your damage is great, but you have very big limitations. This is not even remotely the best detatchment we have, its actually one of the worse ones. That doesnt make it bad, because all the ork detatchments, maybe barring kult of speed, are actually good. So this is definitely a very doable detatchment. But you still have very big hindrances.

It's a strong detachment but might struggle with certain spam armies.

Depends on how you set it up. If you go hard damage output, hordes will do well against you. Roll poorly on push da button and tougher opponents will do you in. Gotta get that balance right

Klanking klaws cannot affect Killa Kans since it can only target "Orks Walker"... So Dreads, Stompa, Gorka / Morka
@BlackJackalGaming5 ай бұрын
There's no Orks keyword on any datasheets. I take it to mean Orks faction, then keyword Walker. Otherwise it works with 0 datasheets.
@chrisg83215 ай бұрын
@@BlackJackalGaming Fair enough, I figured the "grots" keyword for the Killa Kan would make them not "Ork", thus not an "Ork Walker". A throwback to how in previous editions Grots were not affected by the Waaagh rules, which specifically stated "orks only", meaning no grots.
@BlackJackalGaming5 ай бұрын
@chrisg8321 I read it that way as well at first. Then noticed the lack of ork keyword. They might FAQ it at some point to exclude the grot keyword.
@chrisg83215 ай бұрын
@@BlackJackalGaming Yeah they may do so. Though thinking about it, klanking klaws is really good on Kans. Gives them S10 so wounding Termies on 2+ and D4 helps with any FNP the termies may have. Then again, using it on Dreads gives them S14 so can take on heavy tanks and only one hazardous roll required ;)
