Here is how I paint these new Warhammer 40k Leviathan Terminators in the Imperial Fist color scheme. These Terminators are such a cool addition to any Space Marine army!

@@sampsakeranen7069 Non-Metallic Metal. It’s when you paint using normal colors to look like metal instead of using metallic paint.

Metallic paints are great don’t get me wrong I use them all the time and am a big fan but the NNM especially the one shown here looks different to these paints and almost has its own style. If you look at the shoulder pad trim on the model before maverick strips the paint and paints it himself that is a metallic paint

Love it. This past couple months I've been obsessing over the 40k novels, playing the boltgun and Mechanicus games. So now, I really want to buy my first combat patrol box set. The $120 box league of Votann. But I am pretty anxious about painting my miniatures when I finally get them...I just want them to come out good. Love so much of these paintings online.

Take it from a veteran who's painted several armies (Thousand Sons, Chaos Knights, Daemons, Custodes), you'll benefit extremely from painting some practice models first. Get some cheap D&D or historical models from a game store, and just put paint on them to get a feel for the process. Your first few models are going to look terrible, guaranteed, but it's actually super fun and mentally freeing to paint models you don't care about (and didn't spend ~10 bucks per guy on).

I just got leviathan as well. plus, a dude at the shop just gave me his infernus squad, sterngaurd squad, lone wolf operative( that's what I call him I don't care) with the combi weapon a knifes, and ballistus dreadnought. FOR FREE. I love it.

Me: *looks at my infernus marine that is painted with only the paint brush given to me and the basic tutorial from the handbook* …. One day All joking aside, I’m super new to model painting and I decided to use one marine following the tutorial in the book and then, once my can of black spray paint primer comes, see how different it looks testing out methods from online. Also anyone who makes a Tyrinid army? Respect to you for building them, I only had to make ten plus a ripper swarm up and my fingers and thumbs are still in pain 😅
