You obviously have your priorities straight my friend. Mrs Janet comes first. Meanwhile we will be right here praying for strength and healing while you are doing what a good husband does, and enjoying rewatching some old videos with maybe a hickock45 thrown in here and there….. We will be waiting, with bated breath for the day you start back and opening with the simple sentence, she had a lot of battles, but she’s now won the war. God speed in your alls journey…..

One year ago we began our trek down that path with my wife. We have completed the chemo and radio treatments and her hair is coming back in! She has energy again and a positive outlook on the future. You will be sorely needed to assist her through this difficult time and you will be tested physically and emotionally. Focus entirely on her - she will need that. There will be an end in sight but man, the first 3 months or so are a b*^ch. Stick with her, support her, and yes, do ALL the chores, shopping, cleaning, feeding, cooking, and whatever it takes for her to focus on her treatment and recovery. My wife found solace and friendship on a few support groups online as well. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you trek through this difficult time. I'll just watch your reruns until you get back to making new videos!

Enjoy your videos very much, being a lever gun fan myself, especially Marlins. I had the honor and pleasure of spending time with Colonel L. Larson, "The Marlin Man" back when I sold guns. Never knew you were in Texas, much less Houston near where I live, Pasadena, until this video. My prayers for your wife's medical issues. You're in the best place for the treatment of what I assume she suffers. Again my prayers for both of you

HI AGAIN!!! Okay, I'm just going to say it. Based on your video of the bullseye sight, I got one. Long story short, I got three more, and both brothers now have them installed. It looks like I'm going to have to check out Timney triggers now 😂! 👍

I put a Wild West trigger in my 336 - not to get rid of the flop - but due to a very heavy pull with the factory trigger. The factory trigger weight was off the scale of my RCBS gauge. The Wild West trigger got the pull down to a bit less than 4lbs which is perfect for hunting. I'm glad to see that Timney is now offering another option for the Marlins! For me personally, the floppy trigger is not problem as long as the pull weight is good.

I have a mint 1951 336A in 35 Rem. It has the floppy trigger. I never even noticed it until you posted this video. It has a very nice and crisp trigger pull that is better than what most quality bolt actions come with out of the box. It averages 2 lbs 10 oz on my Lyman gauge. I hope all goes well on your coming trials and tribulations. Prayers will be said for you all.

@@TargetSuite Both of them are, but in different ways. That Marlin is completely unmolested. It even has the front sight hood and of course is the waffle top. It must have sat in some guy's cabinet or closet for years without being used much if any to be so mint like it is, and I got it for a decent price to boot. 🙂
