@@gentlemanlows2928 That's because they're doing it too tight. I've had my hair braided with dreads and without. Without dreads the person did it very tight, painful. Different person braided with dreads no pain and it looked like those in the video. It's not necessary to braid tight to have it look neat. Especially with dreads

Those locs were not tightly retwisted on the scalp to cause enough friction for alopecia to start. As long as the styles is comfortable, everybody in this video should be fine.

Okay let me just start by saying this, all those stars are beautiful but half of those Styles you going to lose your hair follicles by pulling your hair to type another thing those are not dreadlock you can call him sisterlocks on brotherlocks or whatever that's not dread Locs dreads are not meat I don't understand why you guys get the dreads and you do this to your hair you might as well have braids take this from a person that has been drained for over thirty something years and I don't have to do all of it to have my hair strong and keep my life another thing like I said you probably going to be probably going to lose your hair but it does look good
