i think a big portion of why sophia got 1st place is because of her very eloquent speaking. Theyve actually had multiple interviews now before and after dream academy and everytime a mic would be given to her, she always gives articulate answers!! And not only is she her own nation’s favorite, she’s also ranked 1st in 68 COUNTRIES!!

@@Barbz_03 yes she did, they posted the actual voting scores on their twitter accounts and on the weverse app, including their old instagram stories. She receieved 88 points in total (including live voting and judges score) which is the number 1.

About the 4 girls who didn't debut: Marquise: Deactivated her account, she'll probably debut in another group in the future Samara: Sort of famous in her home country Brazil, posts many ig covers Emily: Still dancing, and even teaching. Update: Nayoung has placed first place in a Korean singing competition show and will be debuting in a new girlgroup. Marquise had cleared all her social media recently and gone mia, a lot op people are speculating that she’s a trainee at another companion

Yeah, this is a good point. Their "global group" has to look a certain way. Honestly, I was looking at a promo pic of the group just now & thinking about the lineup - I think the overall visual of how they look together (even making Dani blonde, Megan more of a rusty red hair colour, etc.) played a big factor in how they held on to the global pop group concept. The Americans are still representing different global communities.

Hahahaha NOT GASLIGHTING! 😅🤣 I really do think the performance in this finale was wayyyyyyy better than the other one I saw ('Buttons')!! Lol She wasn't the best performer but I LOVE seeing a growth arc. I'm curious to see what she looks like in their debut (haven't reacted to that one yet) - I hope she's been working hard and improving. I will respect her forever if she debuts performing like a firecracker!!!! You know?? Lol I'll wait to watch it before I give my final opinion haha
