Sounds amazing. I think you’re right you have to think it through and realize how much you’re gonna use it and what you’re gonna use it for I’m a crafter of over 60 years and I think it looks like it is well thought out and well-made.
@paulasherrod68353 жыл бұрын
Thanks for showing us your DreamBox! I have seen tons of videos on these boxes and think from a crafters point of view they are fantastic! The price… well it’s out of so many peoples price range. I wish they made smaller boxes for a smaller price that could be used as a storage alternative. We crafters can always use more storage space! I’ve been watching you since your Ohio days. Glad your on my turf now! Keep the videos coming!!! 😊

There are a few Y.T. vids showing some inventive folks who've made their own versions. My VERY "FAVORITEST" storage video, however, is the one that shows how the "EASYStud Rack" fella helped convert a lady's craft closet into one drop-dead-to-die-for CRAFT STORAGE space. BTW ... I HAVE NO AFFILIATION with him, and, to date, haven't even bought the product, but only because I don't have a space to put it!!! Hopefully, you'll be able to see this link. I share it with all & sundry who talk about storage as this guy's philosophy is S P O T O N!!! Check it out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYG4q5Wrjb6nask

I have wanted a Dream Box forever, but less so now. I’m happy that it is working out for you, and hope it continues to serve you well. One thing I felt was glossed over, a bit, was the fact that something arrived damaged. The fact that your unit was delivered a few weeks ago, and you still have not received a reply email is a bit disconcerting. Although I don’t know how long ago you contacted them, anything more than a day for a piece as expensive as this is too long. Finally, I was reading reviews for the DreamBox several months ago, and the missing totes were a complaint then, as well.

I really love these. I live in NZ and the cost to purchase and get one here plus the fact it would not fit through nz standard door size which is smaller…my darling hubby made me one…not quite as flash or as many compartments..but it works and I love it

Fair review, as an owner. I gave them LOTS of feedback on their instructions, which were not good enough for the high price tag. I did find that I keep it open almost all the time. So, I am considering removing the table entirely and just placing a high low desk in front of it. Additional command hooks are a good idea.

I have a older version that was given to me. I have the cloth holders wish they were plastic. Where you put the command hooks, I added Magnet sheets on both sides and all my nesting dies are there. I did put command hooks on the side of my 4 square Ikea cubes where my Brother scan n cut sits on. When my friend gave it to me he had messed up on the legs and I had to repair it. Thank you for sharing your Dream box experience, and I agree on the instructions.

I purchased a Dreambox a year ago January and I found lots of videos on YT and FB (they have a FB group too). It arrived in a huge crate and I had to haul all of the pieces up a flight of 15 stairs and I assembled it myself. Took me about 11 hours total! But I enjoy assembly projects. I opted for the basic package as I had a bunch of those IKEA shoeboxes which are perfect for this, also I had a plastic drawer unit that fit perfectly in the right lower side....I store all my tools in it. I love the Dreambox! TYFS ❤️🦋💜

i purchased the WorkBox3, just a couple weeks before they discontinued it to replace it with the DreamBox. It's the same thing, just a few small changes, but it was cost much less which I was glad I bought it when I did. my husband and I assembled it from scratch and honestly, it took us about 3 hours from start to finish, not bad. I love mine!! I purchased the large magnets which adhere to the outside of the doors where I store all of my dies. The box is great. I am blessed, I have 2 craft rooms, when the kids moved out, one is my sewing room and the other is my craft room. I do love the view you have in your craft room.

I just finished getting mine. I was missing some bolts to be able to complete the piece until just last week. I also had damage on side pieces that was sent out x2. I wish I had waited I have the old original one, and they have made so many good changes. I don't really use mine :( mine has super thin shelves, the fabric baskets are falling apparent and some things just don't function well like the new one. I've tried changing and customizing some, but just can't get it to a state where I love it. Also mine was drilled wrong, so never really has been easy to close up so I have to leave it open. I bought the original Dreambox - when it was the Workbox. That was about 10 years ago. I wish I could afford to buy a new updated one, but the idea of 1) spending the money and even more 2) putting it together and 3) taking the old one apart…are all far too hard to imagine! When I spoke to create room they said if you buy it from hsn you will get it a lot quicker than if you are to go through them. However, you might not get them cheaper than their website unless you are an employees of hsn. If you are an employee then they are cheaper that way. At least it was when I checked it some time ago.

What type of spoons do you use with embossing powder
@PKEDRM3 жыл бұрын
I have problems with static cling so plastic is out! I made triangular scoops from card stock that worked great and then I changed the way I stored my powder and they were oversized. I just went with metal spoons, one of which was for melting ceiling wax. It was made without a wooden handle and I found that I'd burn my fingers when I used it for the purpose it was intended. I think metal is the way to go. A gentle tap on the edge of the container and a quick wipe with a towel and I'm good to go to another color, but I mostly use clear embossing powder over colored inks or the few that I have in my collection that are specialty ones like gold, silver, and those with glitter. Good luck. The other thought was to get some children size tableware because those spoons are easier to store in my tight spaces but I never think to look for them when I'm out thrifting. I'm not going far from home due to covid and recent joint replacement surgery.

I ordered my dream box last July received it in October missing 1/2 my totes, November still waiting on totes.. go on line all these totes are sold out! They said they changed the mold on totes because the old mold was degrading. used to have solid shelves now they have plastic railings. Also the new Cricut smart materials do not fit in the totes, because the totes are 12 inch in width and the smart materials are 13 inch.

I can see why folks might want this. To me, it would be distracting, to see all of my craft supplies at once. After our older daughter married, I kept working with her closet, as the shelving already was, and finally, with clear shoeboxes, and a couple rolling carts with transparent drawer fronts, I have a storage system that works for me. I just get out what I need for my project, and the rest is sitting in their spots. Even with All the cubby holes, it still looks cluttered to me, and I dont think I could work in that.🤷♀️ Plus, they seem claustrophobic, to me. But, that's just me.💁♀️

(( Sweetie ... Alexandra ... I realize that your glasses are part of your signature look, BUT ... IF you'd opt for a narrower frame -- OR got your optometrist tech to order a NARROWER "bridge" (nose space) you most probably wouldn't have such issues with your glasses always sliding down your nose. I DO realize eyeglasses have gone the way of shoes -- damn little conformity to the human anatomy!! (Once upon a time we could get shoes that actually came with varying widths, and not JUST overall "Regular" & "Wide" widths! My first pair of "high heels" had "Quad A" heel backs and 'Triple A' width for the ball of my foot!) This comment is NOT meant as criticism ... I just think you'd be more comfortable if your glasses fit you better. Be well. ))
