Man you guys have it so easy these days...my team bike was a DeRosa Professional SLX aqua blue 57cm (guess what year form that spec) Campagnola Record C for all the bearing surfaces, but I opted for super record crank arms because I loved old school look, and Modolo Speedy calipers because they were awesome brakes, and matched the white on the logo perfectly. Every teammate had to put together their daily driver. Back in the day it took opening a 3’x5’ Campy tool kit just to start, had to face the head tube top and bottom perfectly parallel and flat, took hours of slow meticulous work. When that was complete, do the same to both sides of the bottom bracket, half day complete, on to the new process of cable routing in a chromoly frame, installing the usual suspects. Next day, building the wheel from scratch!!! Sewups, fun wow, let’s just say the test drive is day three. Worth every second, the moment you mount a work of mechanical art like that is the moment you know what perfection is. Yeah, you kids have it so easy these days😂😎

Absolutely awesome! And not just the bike, which is pretty close to what I believe is my absolute dream bike. But also the music, the camera, the little details like a hexkey getting dropped or an espresso cup being used for the sealant. And of course the packaging flying around :D Thanks a lot for this! Very entertaining and very relaxing.

Dear Lukás: Thanks for sharing this amazing dream-build. I have just adquired the same components BUT RIM BRAKES is a mandatory for me. I am committed with the tradicional brakes and for the moment, I will resist to install disc brakes in my bicycles. Please, Lukás, can you tell me which was the FINAL WEIGHT of COLNAGO C64 SUPER RECORD EPS DISC BRAKE ??. Thank U very much in advance. Best regards.

I am currently stuck at where you are at 8:22. No matter what I do I cannot get those plastic covers to go back on.And I see that the wiring connector and wires themselves are starting to show some wear from my struggles. The thick brake hood rubber is making it darned near impossible. Is there a technique? Is there a trick?

I have a C64 Disc mounted with Record 12, Colnago R41 carbon handlebar and SR9 stem, I have also 40 mm handmade carbon disc wheels laced to Yuniper hubs. But, I think that frozen liveries of Colnago are something astonishing. I'm planning to pass to EPS when possible.

Fabulous video! I'd love to see the ridable bike. Pedals, power meter, sensors, computer mount and bidon cages? Oh, is the time of build not the perfect time to remove all the factory packing grease from a new chain before installation?

Perfect Italian, I have a C64 same build except direct mount brakes and super zero bars. I dont think road bikes need disc brakes, also massive job to change headset bearings with discs. If its not broken dont fix it stick with rim brakes please

Zatím jsem cc01 dával jen na WRL Campy. Ale dírky jsou dost velké, nebo, jsou asi víc servisácky friendly řidítka.. ale určitě to pujde v pohodě. Kdyby cokoliv, stačí se domluvit :)

Super video. Prace, co by me asi taky bavila. Takovy maly dotaz. Nestve Vas tenhle servisni stojan na zdi? Me by tedy stval. A pak dve male vytky. At se dari. Mate krasnou praci.
@dosedlalukas3 жыл бұрын
