This thing is absolutely sick. Love the solid matte black finish on everything and I am so glad the big bike industry has finally caught on to using that extra lever for a dropper in gravel bikes. Gorgeous video and build as always!

I really don’t like this bike but that won’t stop me from appreciating the amazing cinematography
@bigslacker6664 жыл бұрын
What's not to like about it? Gravel bike with a short stem, 66 degree HTA, 50C tire clearance and a dropper. It's a drop bar mountain bike.
@themagicillusions4 жыл бұрын
Steve Means Just aesthetically I don’t think I could buy a thing that’s as ugly as this but other people might find it good looking! For me the drop bars look horrible and the standover is way too low.

@@themagicillusions This bike is drop dead rock and roll gorgeous. Nothing "pretty" about it for sure. As primarily a mountain biker, I love this thing.

@entoh le Define 'real' gravel frame? What does that mean, a roadie based frame with steeper HTA, toe overlap but you can put a frame bag on it? Why? There are plenty of those out there already. This is more of a shredder/MTBer gravel bike, not a roadie's.

Lovely video and bike. So much the opposite of when I work on bikes; decent lighting in the garage, all the right tools to hand, no pressure of missus or kids ("You said you'd be in there 10 minutes, it's been 2 hours"). They must have edited the bit out where he screamed 'F**k' at the top of his voice after either stripping a hex bolt or cutting said cable/steerer too short.

I work in a bike shop and I build bikes, day in and day out, yet I find this so chilled to watch. How do you get so many videos of builds? It fascinates me. You must do a hell of a lot of travelling Gee! P.S. Sorry to be one of “those people”, but it does worry me that these guys who cut carbon, aren’t using an extraction system or a mask. It’s evil stuff. Also, some gloves to protect against the lubes and DOT fluid wouldn’t go amiss.

You probably are living my dream life right now mate! Even if what you’re building doesn’t match up to what’s on Gee’s channel, still enjoy it because you don’t know when it might end.
@chm17014 жыл бұрын
Yaish Matheen. I get to build a lot of what I see on Gee’s channel, Yaish, but after 20 years of being in a low paid job (bike shop owners are tight arses! Lol), I’m working on moving on. Imho, work in a bike shop because, 1). You own it 2). You’re young and aren’t too bothered by the lack of pay, or 3). It’s a stepping stone 4). The owner has a passion and wants to constantly improve and values his/her employees. It’s not a job to get well paid in, but if you can work in a bike shop that deals with high-end bikes, then it does make the job a lot easier! You just have to do a lot of repairs in between the nice stuff.
