Thank you for including a segment of post build riding! I feel like I speak for a vast majority of your viewer base when I say, we would really like to see Dream Builds in action. I can appreciate the effort to build and the cost, but that carbon frame and anodized component can’t stay pretty.

I blew my tyre off the rim trying to set it up tubeless in my living room. It proper exploded covering pretty much everything including me, my mrs and the cat in sealant. Be warned 😬😬😬

@Kleiner Helfer Thanks for the cheerful comment. You sound like a right bundle of joy 😳 It was just a funny story from my early tubeless tyre adventures. All my bikes run tubeless now and I have no problems. Like most "sane" riders that don't want to spend half their time changing flats. Have a nice day 😊

Electronic shifting in an adventure bike?........Sry but no. Almost all builds i see are with electronic shifting and i am kinda fine with that, but an adventure/gravel bike should not use electronic shifting in my opinion. Its just not necessary. If you can shift perfectly fine without having to recharge a battery once in a while, you should not add another battery to your travelling kit.

nice bike, nice video. I have a Croix de Fer myself: 2014 steel which I built for communting with lights and fenders. my only regret: mechanical disc brakes. would never go that route again. skipped the hydraulics for price reasons (2014 hydraulics were still rare, only in top end groups and very expensive). Mechanical disc brakes really suck dude. I tried different models and although there were some improvements - all in all the just really suck - even compared to mechanical rim brakes. Anyway - keep it up! Will you also make a review video?

I’m enjoying the bike so far kzbin.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
