I make that mistake just about every other chain I put on. It's super easy to do and doesn't really effect anything other than make your bike loud

I would like to say, to anyone saying this is less professional to go effing ride a bike and have fun because this is what it is all about! Duuuuuudddeee . . . that satisfying SMACKSMACK of rubber sitting into the beed properly is one of my favorite parts of every dream build video! Its the hallmark of a successful tubeless setup, you cant show the man using the track pump and edit out one of the best sound effects in all of cycling!

at first i thought the same... maybe he want to save some money. my next chainring will definitely be an nx. because the gx is expensive and made from aluminum. i cracked it on some points when im doing trial-fun. nx steel and cheap...

Joel Veltmann yeah I agree ! In my opinion, if I was able to build my dream bike, first I will use shimano parts. 😂Secondly this status is a beast, fork, shock, the frame is an absolute beauty. Every components are really high range, and for me the crank is a little bit undershoot with the global quality of the setup !

@Mono_Mono There are people who say that doing it more than once would overtighten the screw. I don't really get it, because if it's tightened at 3 Nm in the first click, why would the torque wrench go 4 Nm the second click?

I noticed he did it on all of the bolts except the stem which is holding the carbon bars. Perhaps there is a method in his madness in double torquing of the parts that interface with metal and not the carbon ones which are more prone to failure from over torquing.
