Don't use all the grease he does, it's really necessary except for a small bit on the threads.

This bike was really easy to assemble kzbin.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.

Frame polish + disc brakes = bad times!
@danaponik52763 жыл бұрын
I agree. I spray the polish on to a clean towel before wiping the bike down.

These bikes are amazing. They really are. But it looks like they are a complete pain to work with. The proprietary groupsets need about five or six specialist tools, and there is so little room for installation error. Some industry standards are sorely needed.
@CHAPTER2Bikes3 жыл бұрын
Yeah. For sure the fully integrated set-up needs a good mechanic. Thankfully we pre-install hoses in the MANA Handlebar to make it easier. The cable stops are also built into the BB cover which is removable for easy access. With Sram eTap and the new semi-wireless Shimano groupsets, the installation is pretty easy.

the most hated component for me will always be the deraileur hanger, that thing has no right to be unique for almost every frame model for a component that is supposed to be the sacrificial piece on a crash
@CHAPTER2Bikes3 жыл бұрын
@@core2zero That's a good point, but when we can't even agree on BB Standards, I doubt there's going to be a consensus on the hanger. Shame.
