The remaining tiles won’t be installed until after testing. This is so our team can maintain access to internal components and support handling operations.

Curious, how come all of the heat tiles aren’t on for this testing? Isn’t losing heat tiles during flight a pretty historic problem? Or is it not these types of conditions that would be a big threat to the tiles so it’s not as important for this test?

This variation of the Dream Chaser is for cargo transport only. A future version will carry humans to the ISS and I would expect that crew would gain access to the vehicle via a crew access arm that extends out to the vehicle and is retracted before launch. Someone else may have more updated information.

Does NASA intend to use the DREAMCHASER to be a LUNAR LANDER. Has NASA have the resources to assemble a space station to send to LUNAR ORBIT. Which agency will be first, CNSA or NASA. CNSA has 10x more money purchase parity and for the first time NASA is the under dog. So exciting. 😂
