I wanted to say thank you for you honesty and not trying to present the PERFECT craft room. It takes a long time and a lot of patience to find your own organizational style. And if things ever do end up being perfect, our inventive brains would only re-create it. Because I don't think people who craft ever really run out of ideas--at least I hope never to reach that point. So keep reaching!

Great job! As a professional organizer, I can tell you it's all about what makes sense to you. Creating short places to put stuff until you're ready to put it away is brilliant! Thank you for taking the time to provide all the links!

This is great!!! I love the wall paper you used. It's perfect! Lol, I love how things "make" sense to you. I was guessing what would be in the drawers on the orangnizer on the desk. They all make sense to me. Just wondering what you use the Happy Planner note pads on the desk for. Dad did such a FANTASTIC job on the Washi rack. Such a wonderful gift to cherish. What a happy place to work. So happy for you.

Mary Ellen, I really enjoyed this tour of your craft room/office. Also, I actually like your planner ledge just the way it currently is…on your desk and unhung. 😊

For cord management, you could use a combination of zip ties (around the base of lights, etc), and command hooks (under the table/up the sides if needed) to hide them more 😊

Mary Ellen, the empty art container in your closet is what I use for all of my electronic cords. You can change the size of each compartment and then I label the sections accordingly. So I have 3 of the containers and label them: chargers, wall adapters, hdmi, camera, printer, Cricut, etc. maybe that would work for you instead of the bin.

Your room is an absolute dream. It's organized and full of so many fun items. The washi tape wall and marker organizer look like pieces of wall art. Even though I have a small fraction of your supplies, you've given me so many great ideas for organizing what I have. Thanks for sharing. I hope you are happy in your space.

Love the real life video. Lots of practical suggestions too. It came at the perfect time for me. We are renovating part of our house which includes my craft room. I’ll definitely be using lots of your ideas! And when my room isn’t “perfect” I’ll think of this video and remember that it is not about being perfect, it’s always a work in progress! Thanks for sharing another piece of your life with us! ❤

I don’t do planning crafts but I loved watching this video. It has a lot of ideas that can transfer to other craft supply storage. I know I’m a little late to the game, but to shorten the pole from the camera/ring light holder use a pipe cutter. You can get them in hardware stores. Then just cap the end. Thanks for these real life videos. It’s not perfect but it works!

Wow I wish I had you near to me to help me organize my craft room, I am a want to be crafter, scrapbooking, journaling want to be, I have so much stuff that I have bought throughout the years but have not been able to get my craft room set up to even start to work in! I have SEVERE ADD! Along with several other mental illnesses that holds me back from getting a craft room even set up, I just keep buying and buying hoping one day I’ll find someone to help me or I recover from my illness that I can get set up for something I so desire to be able to do!

Really enjoyed this. It is so much work to create a space for organized supplies that are logical and easy to access and easy to put away, using temporary collecting places for clearing the work space quickly, like the washi tape container to sort and put away later. Like how you demonstrated your systems and style. Beautiful and functional and personal to what you love and what works best for you. Not easy. Your nailed it. I really appreciated all the storage and organizing tools and supplies. Gave me hope and ideas.

She looks so adorable in it.❤️😺🥰 So, I’m so happy your Planner Room is done and what is important is that you are happy even if it’s still a bit unorganized. God bless you and keep the faith always and love always! Sue M.(Clearwater, Florida)❤️😺😺🙏🏻🥰😘🌼🌸😊❌⭕️❌⭕️

Wow, this is amazing! Thanks so much for sharing all the hard work you’ve put in to make it so organized! 2 questions: -Extra planner pages. I saw where you had a small bin of them, but what do you do with the other outdated / unused pages? -Your amazing washi wall. I know your dad doesn’t want to make any, but is there any way he’d share or sell plans to make one? I love it so much!
