Casey Cheung he said it was sponsored by LG. That said, I disagree on no normal person changing. My wife redecorates the house depending on the season, and each year there's new or different stuff. This is similar. If anything, I'd say this now becomes more common as people buy their own equipment for their home offices, or employers see it's cheaper and retains employees better to pay for good equipment for their employees rather than pay for office space and crappy equipment. I got the 49" Dell in January and am ready to change. It's great for spreadsheets but doesn't have enough height for documents or coding. I'm considering the CX so I can put all my consoles in there and not have to monopolize the media room and its C8 to game. Plus, HDMI 2.1/120 Hz doesn't hurt, and I'm more likely to game instead of work till all hours if it's more convenient. I also have a stand-up desk, but paired with a treadmill and a different Herman Miller chair, the Aeron. I wish David would incorporate the treadmill so I could see how he adapts things. It's been great for my health (extra 15,000 steps/day) but makes seating difficult, as it's too narrow to sit the chair on, and so wide it makes full use of the monitor challenging. A hydraulic monitor arm would help. I have the Amazon version of his Ergotron and the 30 lb, 49" Dell is too wobbly.
@caseyonlocation82574 жыл бұрын
@@davidc2072 If LG gave me a 49" monitor for review that I could keep, I would...no have to...remake my entire desk too. That said, I outgrew my small desk due to excessive gadget purchases during this covid quarantine. So my new 70" XL Autonomous SmartDesk2 electric sit/standing desk is arriving tomorrow! No, I'm not going to make a silly "look at me sitting/lying on the Autonomous desk while I press the button to raise the desk video" like I've seen on other KZbin channels, LOL!

Especially on a keyboard, I don't understand why USB C matters. Most laptops or even desktops have very limited number of USB C connections anyway. 2. Can you recommend any other options for the monitor arms? I get the HX is premium, but it is quite expensive as well as the OLLIN. I think the OLLIN was about $400. If there's a discount code, or other options let us know. 3. With the LG OLED, have you had any issues sitting close to it and what is the app you are using for split screen? It doesn't look like the split screen app LG has for their monitors. 4. Do you have a recommended chair alternative that does have the headrest? 5. Why do you play your games (PC) in windowed mode vs full screen?
