Dropped my Twinspark off today at the engine builders to get fully built. Funny coincidence that I get home to see your vid!

Bought a twin spark last week to do the same thing . I’ve been meaning to do it since I first saw that video a couple of years ago. Good to see you’re still kicking - your videos are excellent.

Appreciate the kind words! Wow that’s exciting man! Did you get a 75 head? And see you going fuel injected/modern ecu?

@@NikkoSalgado I used your suspension video yesterday to start fitting the alfaholics short front spring kit and geometry set - really helped to see how it all goes (back) together . 75 head and I’m going to go all in - 2.3L stroker , cams etc with 45 Webber’s 😈 . Thankfully it’s an on the side engine so I’ll drive the current nord till it’s complete .

Very keen to see the build of the TS as there are many videos on converted cars but not on the actual build and conversion. Is the a reason you are not going itb’s?

Thanks for the kind words. 1. I personally think webers sounds way better than ITBs. 2. It’s a more period correct technology to the car. I don’t want it too advanced. I will also be doing a few things to make it run smoother for the road

Did you look into using a 155 block as well? I have a complete 155 engine that will hopefully make its way into my 105, been looking at block alternatives, but making the 105 sump fit the 155 block seems less complicated than what I expected. I also read that the inlet ports on the 155 head is better for injection, do you know if the manifold you got corrects for this?

@@NikkoSalgado i wanted to ask, what are the steps in getting a twin spark motor on alfa 105s, do you put the entire alfa 75 motor or use the block from a 2000 nord engine and the block from a alfa 75
@klaytonhulsberg40592 жыл бұрын
wait you can convert a nord to a twin spark? like using a Nord block?

yep! looks even more period correct in my opinion

Nikko, I am building an '85 Spider using a Twin Spark engine with the kit from Alfaholics. I am wondering where you sourced the starter motor and alternator from? Also, does the 45 Amp alternator have enough juice for your build, including fuel pump, ignition, lights, etc.? Thanks.
@NikkoSalgado2 жыл бұрын
starter and alternator are from the alfaholics website. no issue so far!
