The thing I love about this album is it starts off completely kickass from the very first second. No nonsense, no slow lead-in, just KICKASS SOLO!! You can imagine the discussions they had "So, shall we lead in with something nice and slow, melodic? Or maybe fading in? Hmm, could do some rhythm leading up to some lead" OI LADS. How about I just smash straight in there with the lead guitar from the start? Great idea!!

No it doesn't give religious vibes. If you've heard other power metal bands they usually all chronicle mythical or fantasy warriors and stuff. I see where you're comin from but you'll notice a lot of myths are similar to the story of Christ and such.
