That’s how garages look of ppl who actually don’t need a garage like that

I was thinking the same thing. Tools go in a bag or bucket so you can move them where you need them. Those cabinets are pointless and will only be used for stuff you don't need. The table will end up filled with the empty beer cans that dude collects to make his beer can pyramid.

In Ireland many older homes have two living rooms. The ‘Good Room’ where everything is set out perfect and you’re never allowed in unless there are visitors. We pretend this is how we normally live. And then there’s the smaller living room where you watch TV, chill and be normal. I feel this is the ‘Good Garage’!

A dream garage would have much more space, two car lifts, one two-pole and one for suspension repairs with integrated wheel alignment equipment. Wheel and tire installing and balancing tools in a corner. Ample electric supply and high performance compressed air system. And a large amount of various minor equipment that would be hard to list, starting with basic ratchet tools and ending with pump for oil change of transmissions and smoke machine to find leaks. A few computers with service information databases and high quality diagnostic software. Cabinets are necessary but minor things compared to these.
