This is so frustrating to me because I tried using those same cabinets to make built in seating and it wouldn't let the sims sit because the path was blocked. Thanks for the tutorial, I'm going to follow along and hope I can get it working for my setup.

Are you using a mod to remove shadows from objects? The plant that you shrunk doesn't have shade, it is normally quite tall

no i am not using this mod. Not all plants give shade when reduced, I only use those that do not. If you mean a plant that weighs on a wall, then there are two versions of this plant in the game. One of them does not give a shadow and can be obtained from debug
