Hello neighbor! We live on the other side of the canal and have watched your build in awe from the first shovel oh so long ago! Looking so forward to having you and your family move in and get settled! Just can't wait to see what's next with the landscaping! What trees are in your "orchard?" See you soon!

The before and after sponsored by was HILARIOUS. you’re right, it looks WAYYYYY better after. I don’t even know what room was my favorite, the laundry room was ahhhhhmazing!! The mudd room is a dream, all of it. The kitchen. The tile, the herringbone pattern in the mud room is gorgeous, beautiful house. I was like 😮😮😮 thru the entire video!!

The bathroom wall that needs to be reinforced but has already been tiled: Rather than rip out all that tile, open up the wall on the outside of the bathroom and thus leave all or most of the tile in place. and only have to replace plain drywall.

Your house is insane! Way to go!!! A lot of your "mistakes" sounds like things you just wouldn't know, if you didn't know. There's so many moving pieces with a build like this and so much going on, I feel like as someone who isn't a professional contractor, there's no way you could have caught most of those issues you had! Glad the house is almost done and congrats on all your hard work paying off 👏

Interested in why you don’t like the pool? Also just because it has a garage style door doesn’t mean it’s in the garage.
@donttouchmysilver82022 жыл бұрын
@@kaden56 just coming from California it’s weird that it has a garage door vs nice French doors into the pool room. Why not a sliding glass door instead with some tint if he wanted an indoor/outdoor feel. It’s such an odd design choice with no cars being parked inside
@kaden562 жыл бұрын
@@donttouchmysilver8202 Fair enough. It’s a common design where I live to have in/outdoor areas separated by garage doors. There is a big new home down the street from us that has a theatre room separated from their back deck by two large garage doors that have the same look as the one he has by his pool. I think the benefit is that it’s automatic, easy, automated, etc. A living room would obviously not take that approach haha, but I think it’s appropriate for a pool room.

Just the living room of this house would make me happy. And here he’s complaining about issues that he encountered while building “his dream home”. Now don’t get me wrong. I have my own home and it’s a typical three bedroom two bathroom 1700 ft.² home my point is humans will never be happy no matter how much they have. They will always be some type of negative issue that they have to focus on no one has ever said “I am 100% happy with everything I have and everything I have done”
@Aaron-Miller-1138 Жыл бұрын
Their problem is pride. People are so proud they can’t appreciate anything. 😔 I live in a 900 ft.² rental with my beloved family. Three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and we are grateful for what we have. We have humility. 🙂 It is a fact, the rich are proud, the poor are humble.
