I have a pair of blue throat triggers. Very very nice fish. Probably a must to QT though, I've found everyone I've had gets flukes when they come in. Not sure why!

Hey I have a Walt Disney tenius only acro tank and lil tip make sure it’s aquacultured I noticed wild cuts tend to get RTN faster from shipping and introduced to different tanks to much.

Walt Disney. What an absolute stunner and pain in the butt. Had one in my system on a frag rack for a year now. Colour is awesome, growth is awesome. Decided to finally move it onto the scape aaaaand it’s now white 🤦🏻‍♂️. So frustrated.

Possible the lanthinum chloride in phosphate E from brightwell. Heard mike paletta talking about using some and it wasn’t in a high flow area and knocked out some fish

Hey Inappropriate, if you’re ever in Austin, TX I highly recommend you go to the Austin AquaDome... it’s a super cool reef store that is literately in the shape of a dome... bottom floor is fresh water and top is salt... it’s huge. Even have a tub with sharks in it

I use that clip and just roll up the nori in a tight roll. Fish love it and much less mess!

@inappropriatereefer would be interested to see how your WD tenuis turns out. I've been pretty reluctant to get any high end frags since they tend to be a risky buy sometimes. the most expensive frag I paid for was a RRC Orange Passion for $250 for 3/4" that barely last 3 months. Tenuis' seem to be more picky compared to all my other SPS. I also tried the clammania live sale a week ago and got like 7 of them. So far so good for now. Dosing more Kalk more to raise pH as well even with my HRV installed due to the lower evaporation rate.

The Oregon tort is my all time fav acro. Went on two business trips recently and my tank went through a crash, I lost it. It’s actually impressive how tough acros are. People say they are the hardest to keep and from my experience if you can grow sps in general, you can grow acros! That blue is unmistakable!

I fold the sheet of algae into a clump. Fold it up until you can't fold it anymore then clip it. It takes the tangs all day to eat it and you don't have it coming lose and floating all over the tank. Love my clip after I learned that trick.

I have that algae clip with insanely aggressive fish. Fold the algae sheet into a tiny rectangle and it works very well. No mess. You can use an entire sheet no issues.

You have to increase the PAR to atleast 300-400 on the upper rockwork. My oregon tort loves high PAR.

You just should let that bottom portion of the Fox flame grow out on the frag once you removed and glued the tip to the rock.

From my experience phophate remover plays hell on clams. I've never been able to keep a clam in a tank I use phosphate e in.

You should do a coral dip before put coral in to your tank. The sps that are bleach or stn if it stop and you going to glue to the rock you actually do not require to frag it. You cause more stress to the coral.

You really should try brightwells 8.3 powder for doing your alkalinity my tank rarely dips below 8.2 using that stuff

Look for the algae grazer....it holds your nori flat and has square openings for the fish to graze....they can be rough grazing and it won't release the entire sheet of nori ...BRS sells it....just got one and it's way better than the clip style

Lol that’s not the way to use phosphate e, check a video on how to dose lanthanum chloride (phosphate e) safely. It can wipe your tank if not used properly
