Build looks great, but a word of warning. I had a similar temporary set up for my pond refurb, and the return pipe failed during the night. The result was 14 koi in 3” of water! I would either fit a float switch on the pump or at least raise the pump off the floor of the pool so there will always be at least a foot or so of water. Good luck with the build though!

Thanks mate good to be back, yes mate it will all be Japanese finish, the summer house will have 4 bifold doors with the grey composite cladding that I had behind the bakki showers from the previous, I literally brought everything with me from the previous pond set up, take care 👍🏻

Hell off a big pond mate. Is that bamboo growing near the pond if so get rid. Some off it can be awful I have been told we’re it has come up and started to grow in a conservator we’re it has been planted outside. Looking forward to this build 👍👍

wondered why you'd not posted for a while, congrats on the move. really looking forward to watching this progress at a guess I think it'll be bigger than 8,000 gallons ours is 8,000 and not as big as that

Thanks matey, when I calculated the measurements I got under 9500 gallons but that’s measurement before the blocks, fibreglassing, concrete base etc. you could be right tho it might be bigger than 8000 gallons, I’ll be using a water meter read when info to fill the pond up, possibly take under a week to fill up 🤣 can I ask what is the measurements and depth for your pond ? 👍🏻

@@just4koi143 going to take us a while to fill up too lol, the dug hole was 4.5m square and 2m deep, now it's been squared, based blocked glassed etc it's 3.95 x 3.85 meters and 6ft3" depth then there's all the water to go into the pipes, filters, showers 🚿 🙈 we've still got the filter house to do yet 😵‍💫
