Hi Jeff, that blanketweed should be a thing of the past, once those bakki showers mature and kick in, haven't forgot about video of my drum, learnex pro works for me everytime, but be aware it is basically a wormer and can expel costia from the gut, which then travel to and infest the gills, I lost a very nice koi this way, so now I treat with chloramine T after the learnex treatment.

Very nice work. When will you ever stop, must be soon ish lol. I used blanket answer last month, it nuked it bigtime but now I have a black slimey layer falling off the liner but the 220 is catching it easy peasy. Hope yours gets nuked too. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.

Hi Simon, I had nightmares yesterday morning had no outflow coming from bio chamber the blanket weed all ripped off the liner after treating which blocked up the retro bottom drain completely but got it sorted, massive improvement since treatment, btw I will never stop 🤣🤣🤣thank you and take care 👍🏻

I must say that after watching this video I was very disappointed. Disappointed that my yard doesn't look anywhere as good as your yard. The cladding makes a huge difference and definitely sets off the Bakki showers as you mentioned. A lot of work but well worth the end result. Wonderful job. Truly a backyard to be proud of.

Mate, fence looks fab really like it , glad the koi are looking good , Andy treated early on his pond on my advice , I did pull him up on saying it didn’t work because as he said he scrapped and found no flukes , so it had worked , just his koi had been badly effected by the Gill flukes and it can take some time for them to heal , if at all in one case . Nice update Jeff 👍👍😀😀

Jeff mate as others have said 👏🏼 it's looks awesome 👌🏼 I always read through the comments before commenting myself and i saw something about being in two minds about pump fed or gravity fed 🙃 Rodney you plonker 🤣🤣 gravity fed all the way as pumps chop up the muck and make the filter work harder. Maybe a bench just before the skimmer decking so you have a nice place to sit (im aware you are rebuilding next year so no need to do much more).

Sets your pond off nicely 10 out of 10 m8. I've had to treat my pond for blanket weed ,now I'm having to clean my eazy pod out every other day.its a shame we couldn't get the fish to strimmer it .

Thanks Vince, after treating the pond for blanket weed next morning the outlet had no water coming thru, retro bottom drain got totally blocked up with dead blanket weed and the treatment, all sorted back up and running just shows me cloverleaf works better than EA’s treatment 👍🏻take care

All the improvements you're doing are making your pond one of the best looking on KZbin. I had a thought, you can get large diameter bamboo which you could use to disguise your outlet pipe and maybe the shower pipes. You can get it split in half as well. Just a thought.

I thought I had a blanket problem, but you have loads. Are you treating the blanket and fluke at the same time? I didn’t think you could so I was holding off for a while, as I’m on day one of a lernex treatment. Also, is your pond pump fed?

Hi Alex, yes I am pump fed, I will do a video explaining how the filter systems work, I was on 8th day with lernex pro with first dose before adding the blanket weed treatment, I wouldn’t use both together, Once I treat the pond with any treatment before bringing in another treatment if needed I would give it 7 to 10 days👍🏻thanks and take care

I had the same problem when i treated with fluke M. cured the flukes but the blanket weed was a nightmare and the uv being off left my pond clarity none existent. dont worry though, 2 weeks later is back to its best. had to add aload of filter wool to get rid of the dead blanket weed.i used aqua resolve for the blanket weed. always worked for me.love you vids. keep em coming

Jeff as a temporary measure to stop the blanket weed ,get a large sail and 4 posts to cover the pond buddy 😀👍🏻don’t think there that expensive buddy and it should help loads with not much sun on the pond 👊🏻
