I've biked since 1998 (im 37) Biggest mistake i did was sell my xc hardtail and my enduro bike during last lockdown.... Still got an old dirt jump bike *rare, but really need something like a long travelled modern hardtail for town riding and an all rounder. No funds atm

@@SamPilgrim yo, what is the difference between a down hill bike and a normal mountain bike?

Well a DH bike is made for only going Downhill, so you are not gonna have easy gears to climb or to cruise. Plus the travell is huge and it will take up a lot of your momentum. If you want a bike with a lot of travell go for an enduro bike, it can have 1x12 which is perfect for going uphill and also downhill, and the shocks might have a climbing function and so on...
