Thing is, this whole thing isn't new. These drawings and works have existed ever since the beginning of the Dream SMP and ever since every member has made an appearance in there. People who make rule 34 art and fanfiction of minors (also shipping minors with eachother or other adults) call themselves poppytwt or the poppy community, and their reasoning/excuse for making these is that they cope with trauma this way. I am in no way judging anyone's trauma, all traumas are valid. What can NOT be valid is a way of coping, and this one is just not it fam..

Also, S.C. 2011, c. 4 Subsection 6 makes it clear that nothing in the act requires or authorizes a person to seek out child pornography. Not sure how it is in America, but in Canada, that makes it a punishable offense. Not that you would be tried, but you could be tried.

Lani (pronounced Lah-knee) is Tubbo's younger sister, who has also appeared in a few of her brother's streams and Tommy's video's. And as a person who's pretty active on AO3, I'm sad to say that I've seen nsfw fics with Tommy, Tubbo, Ranboo, and yes, even Drista (not sure if I've seen Lani) show up in the list of fics when I just look up DreamSMP or any particular tag that has to do with it (and sometimes even unrelated tags). I usually either skip them or leave a comment asking the author to remove it (you can skip straight to the comments if you click on the number of comments instead of the title), but yeah, it's fucking disgusting

Jaiden Animations once said thatshe had bad fanart of her. The reason she doesn't talk about it is so that only people who are into that shit actually see it. Most of her fans aren't even aware of them. Sure they know they exist, but they don't know to what extent and they tend to respect her and keep quiet about it. Here’s the issue with canceling something like rule 34. From what I am aware, there is about a dozen sites some of which are located on the open Web and the dark web, making them very difficult to find and/or eliminate. Even if rule 34 were to be canceled, it wouldn’t take long for most of these “artists” to find their way to these alternative sites and continue their actions. If you want to completely eliminate this issue you have to completely eliminate the Internet and it’s entirety.

No popular characters, not even the mentioned people in this video are exempted of this rule. And as rule 35 states, if no lewd arts of it exists, it will eventually be made. The rule itself is not forcing that "art" should be made if it exist. It is saying that there are artist willing and wanting to draw them even if they dont know about the rule existance There is not really agood way to stop these artist and limit to what they can draw as there is no punishment given when they draw them. Even if there are some artist who realise that drawing these thing of underage people or making other uncomfortable and etc it still a small number of them. There are even people lying their way out of it by saying they have stopped or "i have realise my wrong doings" and just countinue drawing. Even if you counter (i dont even know gow you would do this without doxxing or public shaming)they are still going to make new accounts. Most people on the internet are not willing to change until unless something bad will happen to them if they do the same unprohibited action multiple times(there will also be rebels againts this) You cant really do anything about it and just watch. Even if you get every single one of these websites down there still is away fro them to countinue. There really is not a definite way of stopping these all you can do is if you find something uncomfortable on the internet just report it. the only reason why the images haven’t been taken down is because of a tag which is just “aged up” so with this tag it will not violate tos and wont get removed (yes r34 has a tos, the owners are human beings with common sense) if the art never had that tag it would violate the tos and be removed in a day or so
