Robin Flick Yeah, I love Watchtower. Great underappreciated band in general! Ron isn't a contemporary classical composer though. His approach to the 12 notes, reminds me of a theory called the "Tone clock", which still remains relatively obscure.

This is one the greatest things I've heard. Dream Theater's music translates so well into classical, and I loved being able to recognize all of the parts you translated over. One of my favorite bits in this is at 11:30 where the part of Breaking All Illusions that follows the guitar solo is hidden underneath the melody of Lost Not Forgotten. Makes me wonder whether there's any other places where songs are doubled up like that.

Also fantastic arranging,... this is as good as it gets when it comes to paying tribute to a band :) Also, in the original tracks I always digged some of those Danny Elfman type influences. It's funny how well it translates back to orchestra.
