I got the Triaxis...same identicle circuit same tone when used with the Boogie 2:90 PA. The 2C+ are very expensive but a used triaxsis for under $1000 is a steal these days.

Im pretty sure its just the amp, petrucci uses only the gain from the amp, but other effects are from pedals obviously
