Lyrics: Chapter one Once upon a time, and a very good time it was There was a moo cow coming down along the road So He came Himself in weakness, not in power And He sent thee, a creature in His stead With a creature's comeliness and luster suited to our state And now thy very face and form, dear mother Speak to us of the eternal Not like earthly beauty, dangerous to look upon But like the morning star which is thy emblem Bright and musical, breathing purity Telling of Heaven and infusing peace O, harbinger of day! O, light of the pilgrim! Lead us still as thou hast led In the dark night, across the bleak wilderness Guide us on to our Lord Jesus Guide us home "Tower of Ivory" they used to say, "House of Gold" How could a woman be a tower of ivory or a house of gold?

This is from the album "Cleaning Out The Closet". I'm sure you can 'find' it somewhere. Falling Into Infinity was intended to be a double-CD album, but i believe the publisher didn't want to print two CD's for the price of one. CD 2 was later released as "Cleaning Out The Closet".
@ApoM10 жыл бұрын
steun91 where did you read that stuff? Cleaning out the Closet was released in 1999 and is a Fan Club only cd with songs dating from 91-98. Like pyromaniarules already mentioned, Eve was first included on the Silent Man single (1994)

Apo M Wikipedia about the Falling Into Infinity album. Long quote: "For over a year, Dream Theater wrote songs without being given permission to record them, and at one point became so frustrated that they considered retirement.[6] In March 1997, the band were finally given the go-ahead to record the new album with Kevin Shirley producing.[7] By May, the band had enough material for a double album, but was told to keep it to one disc for budget reasons.[8] As a result, certain songs were not included on the final cut of the album, including "Raise the Knife", "Where are You Now", "Cover My Eyes", "Speak to Me", "The Way It Used to Be", and "Metropolis Pt. 2", the latter of which was later expanded into its own album,[9] and the rest were later included on the 1999 fan club CD "Cleaning Out the Closet"." It's possible that 'Eve' was not intended to be on Falling Into Infinity, but it is on Cleaning Out The Closet.
