I don't understand why the band still expects James to sing like he used to. I know they tune the songs down half a step now, but he's still trying to sing notes a bit higher like he used to back in the 90s. If only they could get him to understand that all he needs to do is mimic the records, nothing more, and then bring the high notes down an octave. Or even better, retire so someone who can actually sing the songs can take over.
