DIY 3D dragon eye made of modelling clay | Notepad Decor Idea | Sketchbook idea

Hello! In this video, I'll show you how to make a 3D hardened clay sketchbook cover. You will see that it is very easy to make such a cover! Hope you like my idea!
The details of the dragon were sculpted from clay, which dries out after a few days. For work, I used the simplest tools that I found at home. I glued the parts on thick PVA glue.
To add texture and more reliably glue the parts, I applied glue to the surface and covered with semolina.
When the lid was dry, I removed the excess semolina.

I have to say, personally, that this is one of my favorite dragon tutorials you have made. For some reason this video seemed more...easier to follow, maybe becuz of, for example, putting the circles with spikes together before gluing onto the book...not that your instructions are never clear but this video seemed "clearer"...if that makes any sense. Love dragons! Love your work!

Ich bastel deine Ideen mit den Drachenauge immer nach weil ich die einfach voll gut finde. Du kannst gerne mehr Videos machen mit so einem Drachenauge! мне кажется дракона нужно раскрасить в тему основания и страничек: красным, коричневым, жёлтым, оранжевым. смешать эти разные оттенки с отливами и получить медный цвет чешуи 😍

@@Dream_Fairy_DIY так наоборот же под цвет глаза сейчас драконов все раскрашивают (фиолетовый, красный, синий, зелёный) вокруг глаза тёмным оттенок делают и проплешины между чешуйками 😊 подскажите ещё пожалуйста, где вы прозрачные полубусины берёте для глаза? или как они офиц называются, чтоб мне знать как поискать можно

Работа классная, но... как пользоваться такой тетрадью? Шипы с обложки не дадут в полной мере открыться ежедневнику чтобы сделать запись. Глина не практична т.к. может отколоться. В любом случае спасибо за вдохновение.Увидев вашу работу я тоже захотела сделать подобный декор, но в более практичном и надежном виде чтобы она служила долго и по возможности ничего не оторвалось, не откололось и не треснуло.

Детали дракона были вылеплены из глины, которая высыхает через несколько дней (modelling clay). Детали я приклеивала на густой клей ПВА. Чтобы придать текстуру и надежнее приклеить детали, я нанесла клей на поверхность и присыпала манкой. Когда крышка высохла, я убрала излишки манки.
