It's semolina flour. It's coarse flour (not finely ground). You could probably use sand in its place since she's using it for texture purposes. Hope this helps.

I can't find those glass stones around here to make this, but it looks really cool

If you have a Hobby Lobby or Michaels you should be able to find them there. Hobby lobby has the smaller and larger size glass stones. I found the larger size in the floral section and the smaller size in the aisle where they have the resin. I am not sure if Michaels has both, but I have seen them there as well. I've seen them where they keep the crushed glass, containers of shells, and I think there are some wreath forms in that area, too. If you can only find the smaller glass stones, you can still make the owl, just make a smaller one. Good luck Jocelyne.
