@@ajaykumar-i9h4jhey our evisa is approved already. But still no option to upload new identity document. Infact it says your account was set up without identity document which is incorrect as I created my account using BRP. Apparently it is technical issue according to home office helpline.

My name hasn't changed on the passport yet I got an email saying "Your name is different". Why is that? Apparently many others also got the same email about their names being different when in fact it's the same.

Firstly I did not get n email. I tried to link but my BRP but i cld not load as it says wrong document, but when i tried my passport the document got accepted but when they ask to scan on the chip Indian passport does not have a chip n i cld not load it n it got rejected. You should only use brp card to verify or national id like driving license if u have, no other documents

Bro i applied for e-visa and now i can view the employee sort code and immigration status prove sort code but when i try to add my passport it says that you can add this document as we are processing your e-visa yet. I havent got my e-visa official email but i can view the status after applying the e-visa after 7 days i start viewing my status online. My brp is valid till 30january 2025 and im going to India next month for a month is their any problem in case i dont get the official email of e-visa approval.

I am sponsoring them and earlier people used to give BRP card as a proof along with sponsoring letter, but now BRP is expiring on 31st Dec 2024 then what document we can give along with sponsoring letter. Hey Varun, how are you doing? You can attach a photocopy of BRP as well as a copy of your eVisa webpage. That should suffice. UK doesn’t have a formal way of accepting visitor visa sponsorships. But it’s recommended anyway.

I made my Evisa with brp .I was about to link my passport with the Evisa so when I opened the update your details part I can’t see my current brp details.I can only view my old brp that I got when I had my student visa ,so when I tried to add my current brp as an identity document the page says it’s already on their system,but why then the new BRP it’s not showing up on the update your details page? Which Date of expiry for BRP do we need to mention while creating account, i have give 31/12/2024, but its giving me error once i submit details from UK Visa app(by clicking pics), once i sign back in it shows Details do not match , and shows Scanned in app as 31/12/2024 and details given in Account details as original VISA expiry, however i have given as 31/12/2024 while creating account. Anyone faces this issue?

I think You won’t be able to do it since you have not received your BRP yet. You need your BRP info must be put in the application. Hope it help you .

BRO PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME, me and my wife are travelling to Turkey in January 2025, usually when we are coming back to the uk, in turkey airport we use to show her BRP card when we are checking in to return back, now what do we do???, are we suppose to log into UKVI and show the evisa to airport counter? After long as you have your e visa you should not face issues. We should receive more details on how we should use it. Or you can call UKVI phone support for more information.

I think we might need to return it. But there is no official communication confirming it. So, I’d wait to hear more info from UKVI
