Ohhhh, I love this! I'm a huge fan of _extreme_ size difference, especially when I'm very small compared to a girl (either her being a giantess, or me being a borrower/shrunken person) - I've always found the idea of someone bigger protecting me to be super comforting, and it's not exactly something I can experience IRL. Oh, how I wish I can be loved by a giant partner... I particularly like how she made sure to stay far away from the borrower at first, until they were more comfortable - with other species they probably wouldn't be able to hear their tiny voice, but with nekos it's definitely easier to get their attention. Yeah, I do have to admit that the smaller you get, the harder it is for your partner to keep you safe and interact with you... If I had to give a small critique, I feel like you could have done a little more in the editing department? Usually with scenarios of extreme size difference, I find it more immersive when the "giant" makes noises that sound "big," whether it be stomps as she walks around, or very slight distortions on her voice. Tiny ears would hear the world differently, after all.

Ah! That's a pretty good tip, thank you! And here I was editing down the sounds so that they wouldn't be jarring since I was on the more soft-spoken side with this script. I'll keep it in mind for the future t remember the listener's perspective better.

To the best of my recollection, they weren't mouse-like in the original books and movies. But they seem to have merged in people's minds with The Littles who did actually have mouse ears and tails. I've seen a good few scripts where a Borrower has mouse features, so I'm choosing to believe that the Littles are one of a few species of Borrower, with some looking more human than others.
