Fighting Vipers 2 was released in 1998, on the MODEL 3 Step 2.0 arcade hardware. The Dreamcast version came out in 2001.

The dreamcast version was 2001 but the original arcade game was definitely in the 90's. I remember all the prerelease articles referring to this as 'AM2's lost game'.

Max's "suck my nuts" comment reminded me that if you get exactly a *69* win streak in a row, the green armor icon will ALSO do that crotch cut pose. And it's deliberate because starting with 3 there are some poses it does...but that one ONLY shows with a 69th streak (it gets replaced after winning once more).

Sega knows nothing then. they keep making 3D Sonic games that fails, and when a 2d retro style game comes along, everyone likes it. they should stop being guess fighters in dead or alive and bring back their own mascots back. I would play a modern Fighters Megamix bring in the Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, and Altered Beast characters in, heck have the Sega's Daytona Horse as a hidden fighter.

Is it just me or I just seen sum tekken moves in the game. Bryan Fury copycats. Paul Phoenix/Eddy Gordo lol Japan picked up a lot of ideas from tekken series.
